Funky tasting Toffee

I been doing ok on the diy front, all flavours taste as they should.. .. but I bought a Toffee flavour concentrate and it has a funny funky sort of taste to it, almost like a gone off sort of taste is quite weird and hard to explain. Are some toffee's like this until they've steeped a while or what do you think is going on, the other flavours I bought from the same place all tasted good mixed and vaped straight away at 5-10%, I did the test batch with the toffee at 5%

I finally found a good toffee flavor (IMO) by mixing two different flavors. I bought DIYFS VG English toffee and her PG English toffee. I mix my recipe at 8% VG version, 2.5% PG version at 70/30 VG/PG ratio. One other thing I do is replace the 30% PG with EM (cotton candy). I needs a couple of days steep time to really shine but it's vapable immediately.

'Don't know which vendor's Toffee you used, but (to us) TFA's English Toffee is strong with overtones of English Walnut. It is a very strange/funky flavor (and impossible to describe unless others know what English Walnut tastes like)...and it could easily be perceived as "gone off".

If that's the 'flavor' in question, it will not 'steep away'.

thanks peeps.. ..yeah kind of a strange one, I mixed it with banana 50/50 @ 10% each and it tasted ok, the funny taste wasn't there like it was on its own, but it was giving me heartburn

Errrr, be careful. How much are you vaping? And what level of nic are you mixing?
