I was recently on a riverboat casino that had no smoking. I was doing my thing walking around vaping when I was spotted by security. The guy yelled "Sir, there is no smoking inside the riverboat!" I replied that I was not smoking.. just like I have done a million times. He had to get his superior and they had to call management to straighten it all out. It was during this process that I came up with what I consider a hilarious and ingenious way to demonstrate the fact that I am not smoking. I have an njoy NPRO and it resembles an analog quite a bit.
I took a long drag, letting everyone see the "cherry" light up strongly, I then quickly turned the cigarette around and stuck the "cherry" directly in my eye! The looks of shock and horror only lasted a split second as they all realized that I was, in fact, NOT smoking. There was no fire, no heat, and NO smoke. I had a dozen security guys laughing so hard they were crying and it was an excellent way to break the ice. It went from a very serious and formal investigation to an off the cuff relaxed discussion, instantly. One of these guys actually asked me if there was a way to use it to smoke pot.. hahahaha. Talk about a turnaround.
Since then I have used this little display many times, not always the eye, sometimes the tongue, or arm, but it is an effective way to demonstrate instead of explaining the ecig. I thought my ECF brethren might enjoy this little tip.
