Funny Taste & Thick Tongue now..?

I have an Evo Intellicig and a Titan 510. Got both around end of Aug. Still smoking analogs but only about 5-15 a day now as opposed to 40+ per day.
Since yesterday, I've had a funny taste at the back of my throat and my tongue feels a bit thick and tingly. Really hard to explain but where I was starting to hate the taste of anaologs - now I'm finding it hard to smoke my e-cigs.

I feel/might be coming down with a bit of a cold, or, maybe my taste buds and tongue sensors are coming back or something? or maybe even just because I've had to change analog brands my tongue might be in revolt trying to cope with a new cig brand plus 2 e-cigs all day! I don't know what it is but would appreciate any feedback from other members please.
Haven't changed my attys yet - so that's the only thing I can think might be wrong with my e-cigs. (?)

In your bushes, watching you undress
Drink more water.

PG dries you out, and that's what you're inhaling.

Also, it sounds as if you are getting liquid in your mouth. It could be sputtering a bit and "spitting" drops of juice into the back of your throat/back of your tongue... this can happen. Normally from overfilling a cart/over-dripping an atty or inhaling a bit too hard. Another reason is if your batt is dying off it isn't vaporizing the liquid as efficiently.

Drink more water to keep hydrated, and also will wash away any random liquid squirts. You should do better that way.

Get yourself some everclear or any 151 pure grain alcohol clear color - I use Galen's 151 charcoal filtered (@$12). Soak your attys for about an hour, then blow them out (by mouth) at both ends and let dry on a paper towel. Drop a few drops of PG on the atty bridge and fire them back up.

No lost attys in 3 1/2 months doing this, and I haven't read of anyone losing an atomizer that could isolate it to this method only.... ie. atty working wonderfully and then using the above method (not soaking overnight) and it not working after this form of cleaning.

Other methods have not fared so well even though some have had good results - many of those methods were 'last resort' measures that 'worked' and then became a routine. Even one of the main proponents of a 'dry burn,' (a method that has killed attys immediately from other's reports), advocates the vodka alcohol bath for bad tastes after the 'dry burn' method of cleaning.

That said, I noticed, but didn't connect yet, my tastebuds reviving after about 3 weeks of not smoking analogs, and during the next week confirmed that was the case. And I agree with Ap.Jackson that still smoking some analogs will likely screw with your tastebuds anyway. But give the vodka bath a try....

Are you using PG liquid? The PG was causing me a lot of mucous in the back of my throat. I then bought some VG (vegetable glycerin) and mixed it in at about 33%. That eliminated the problem. It also makes for more vapor and better throat hit. Of course, it also lowers the nicotine level, but I'm happy with that, too. Just make sure that it's "food grade" VG and that it says "USP" on the bottle (at least, that's what it says here in the States; not sure what it would say en français).
