Can't use both,,, fuse if you want basic battery vent protection, kick if you want output regulation, safety & wattage adjustment.
Depends on what you want.
K1 = adjustable from 5 ~ 10 watts, best with 1.3 ~ 3 ohms.
K2 adjustable from 5 ~ 15 watts, 0.5 ~ 3.3 ohms.
Sure there are alternative makers, I have no experience with any other than Evolv.

I haven't used it, but The Crown by Artisan is VV/VW add-on similar to the Kick: The Crown | artisanvaping.com
How do you set the wattage? I will be using 30A battery. With 1ohm coils it will be about 16 watts. Should I make higher resistance coil to match the kick?
You set the output on a kick by turning the adjustment screw.
Either kick will limit the output to their designed max W.
Seems you're missing the point to variable power devices, you vary the power up or down to find your personal sweet spot.

I ordered a siglei kick clone. I read a thread where it was stated that the kick2 works better and that the siglei is a kick1 clone. I also ordered a vape safe fuse. What are the

Just a little recommendation, maybe you should read up on things you buy so that you understand exactly what your getting and if your getting what your really wanting. It seems you dont completely understand exactly how these work.
I really am not trying to be rude or brusque, you have 3 threads going asking the same basic questions using slightly different phrasing.
You've been given the same answers several times and many links to information that will help make things easier for you to understand. Re reading your own threads at this point would be a good idea.
No one can tell you to buy xxxx and xx, then use xx power on xx ohms.
Every aspect of vaping is all about personal preferences, until you experiment with the variables and gain experience to formulate combinations that work best for you all anyone can do is guess at what we think you might like or tell you what works best for us.
But, what anyone else likes may not work for you.

Kicks have safety features, regulate power output, are adjustable.

I lost track of one thread so I added to another. It is overload at this point and am trying to decide how to get started here.
An MVP2 and a handful of various changeable head clearo's is a very good place to start.
