I'm going to try to pull this off tonight I have 24 26 28 34 ga wire would 24 and 34 be the best to use and how meany wraps to get a dual coil to .2ohms I have 3.5 3 2.5 2 mm jigs

I'm no expert. If you use the dual parallel 24G wrapped with the 34G, and then do 5 wraps at 2.5mm on a single coil it comes out to roughly 0.2 ohms.

If I'm doing this right, you're looking at .388 ohms for a dual coil at 2.5mm inner diameter and 8 wraps. Keep in mind the clapton/wore wizard section is still under development.

The wire wizard tab will let you do advanced builds, but it's still under development. It'll work, it's just a bit complicated.

I've got two attys set up with 26/32 fused at 5 wraps dual coil with 2.5 id, both are at .20 spot on.

did not come out all that good looking but works good don't know about my meter it ohmed out at .13 24ga and 34 ha at 2.5mm 5 wraps

You can. The outer wire does not effect the resistance of the build, so just treat it as a 24g parallel coil (for fused claptons) on steam-engine, and you'll be fine.

I do Fused 26, 34 wrap, 5 wraps *tight* around a 3mm bit.

ThunderDan is right, but you could get the outer clapton to register its resistance by uncoiling a bit on the legs and entering it into the posts as a parallel build would be installed, it would probably be okay on a regulated mod where you can turn up the power but on a mech you would have to much resistance and will be a slow glower
