I ordered a Johnson's Creek sample pack a while ago and haven't gotten around to trying all of the flavors yet. Well I wanted to try the espresso flavor, but I like having a menthol background to all of my juices. So I got the bright idea to mix a little bit of the arctic menthol with the espresso. BAD IDEA! The menthol background isn't too bad, but overall this juice is just plain nasty. I will continue to vape it because I'm not one for wasting juice. Who knows, maybe it will get better?

I can imagine espresso might not be that popular of a flavor. There's an espresso shop here that sells a bunch of different cappuccino and espresso. They describe all the various cappuccino flavors, but to describe the espresso they just say, "If you don't know what it is, you don't want it."

That sounds about right!

Well as coffee is hot and menthol is cool perhaps it is not surprising you ended up with something like a cup of cold coffee

I wish it tasted like a cup of cold coffee!!! I actually like my coffee cold. It tastes more like....I dunno....dirty socks. well not actual dirty socks, but what dirty socks smell like.

I love the JC Tennesee Cured and Original. I especially love the Tennessee Cured in the new formula. But I will say the old Kona Coffee flavor was pure, unadulterated nastiness. And I love coffee. That and another vendor's coffee flavor (which was equally nasty) has turned me off of any of the coffee flavors. So I would expect the same from their new espresso flavor. I also strongly suspect that it's not necessarily the mixing of the flavors that gave you the bad experience. The JC Kona ruined an atty for me. I could never get that flavor out. It overpowered everything I tried to use after.

For me, coffee is for drinking -- hot or cold -- and definitely NOT for vaping.

I guess as these are, I presume, artificial flavours it is anybodies guess what mixing them will produce, so old sock is probably not much of a surprise.
Mind you, some people might like it so you may see 'old sock' listed as one of the flavours in future, I'd give it a go

That would be hilarious to see that flavor actually listed somewhere.

After I finish off this juice I don't think I will be trying any more espresso flavors. I do want to give a cappucino flavor a go though. Hopefully it wont ruin my atty 8-o

Try adding some Cream and/or some chocolate to the Esspresso, I found that does a lot to help the flavor of coffee type liquids that are kinda yucky.

I totally agree, Moonflame. You gotta balance the flavor profiles or you get a big mouthful of Yuck8-o! It's the same principle as in beer making. The hops are there to keep the malt in check.
I got the bright idea of making "mocha cigarettes" one day, only partly do to the fact it was so much fun to say:p. The choc and the coffee were fine by themselves, but when I mixed them it tasted like "Old Leather Work Boot Improved with 20% More Dirt!" Adding Cream or Vanilla might have saved it if I'd a had any. It was a "bitter" nasty vape. You can also go too sweet and end up with "Rotted Fruit Surprise!" Thankfully I only did this as test drops in a cart and not a whole batch. Round two went much better. At first I thought it was odd that the Camel mixed so very well with the Coffee. But now that I think about it, that was my morning blend for twenty years, why wouldn't I like it?

Rocky Mountain Vapor all the way!! They're my homies. Basically free shipping, cheap juices that taste good, prompt delivery.

Also, Did you try mint, menthol, nuport or any other type of mint variety? It may work out for you with a different type of mint flavor.

Also also, try mixing small amounts in a shot glass and scooping it up with a syringe. Wastes less if you don't like the flavor you created.
