G2 Mr Oh Cookie Face - DO believe the hype

Well I have only tired 3 gourmet juices so far at home (tried more in B&M stores). Space Jam 'Eclipse' (bland, wouldn't bother, not worth the price) Suicide Bunny 'Derailed' Takes 2 weeks to steep away the chemical banana taste but once you do, yeah a nice milky banana flavour, very sweet and a good vape.

Only other premium juices I've vaped and liked were Button Junkie 'Vulture Punch' and Mile High 'Sinful.'

I've tried all the big names and really so far can only say I would buy Suicide Bunny again and BJ and MH -- if they did the latter in zero nic in the UK.

I just loaded a freshly cleaned subtank nano and new .5ohm OCC VC coil with Mr Oh Cookie face and all I can say is - DO believe the hype. So many reviewers on youtube bar one had billed this so highly I was sure I could only be disappoined.

A clean caramel, buttery 'thin cookie' what we'd call a 'NICE' biscuit in the UK flavour with a hint, just a hint (not overwhelming like most fruits and the banana in 'Derailed) of strawberry milkshake.

Weird thing is it tastes great at 20 Watts, (more strawberry milkshake than other flavours, followed by mild caramel cookie) it tastes great at 25 watts (a perfect blend of all the flavours) and at 30 watts (the buttery caramel really shines through and takes over but you STILL get the strawberry milkshake) and anywhere between.

Great thing is it's the best juice I've ever tried and I got it half price Black Friday sale, 30ml for £10

Bad thing is a taste for juice like this could get expensive.

Joint best dessert type juice I've ever tried with the other being Mile High 'Sinful.' No other big USA juice company - and throw a name at me and I've tried probably 75% of them - comes close.

Massive dense clouds and amazing rich flavours. Tastes like a kiss from a busty redhead on a summer's day.

Well I'd just get a small bottle. I was over excited and should't have reviewed it straight away after vaping it for the first time.

I'd say I over exaggereted it, though I did feel like that at the time.

Vaping it his morning and it's nice but not amazing.

It's okay, but really just a blend of caramel, butter and strawberry (the milkshake cordial.)

Kind of like Suicide Bunny Mother's milk but more caramel than milk.

It's an okay vape but probably will get bored of it quick like I do all desert liquids and probably not order again.

Bit high on the butter and low on the cookie. The caramel is nice and the strawberry milkshake is a nice touch.

Right now I'm still switching over to Hangsen RY6 before I finish my coffee and go off to work.

Premium desert juices, meh they're nice enough but costing more than a medium bottle of wine for some PG, VG and food coloring?

I still think they are all over hyped and over priced and I'll only be ordering them if discounted.

Don't believe the hype. Seriously. After the initial newness of it, it's okay but not like I first said.

£20 for 30ml; it's just strawberry butterscotch e liquid, It's vapable but like I said, that's all it is, strawberry butterscotch e liquid. PG, VG and food flavourings. I'm in the office vaping £10 for 40ml Hangsen RY6 and I can honestly say I'm liking it just as much.

If the Mr Cookie Oh Face were usually the £9 per 30ml (and all premium liquids were) I got it for in the black Friday sale, I'd keep ordering them but at the normal prices of (£18 per 30ml) they just do not warrant it, you're paying for the high VG mostly, as it gives the illusion of a more powerful vape and at higher watts gives that syrupy taste.

I'm going to start venturing elsewhere for my subtank juices and try to find high VG dessert liquids at prices somewhere in the middle of premium juices and the Hangseng kind of PG juices.

Lol. This is a great thread. The progression of disappointment in a juice. This happens to me all the time.

Maybe set it aside and vape it occassionally. Keep it as a dessert flavor to enjoy once in a while.

The liquid is the hardest part of vaping. Once you nail down the hardware....

@Hotwire, thanks for your thoughts and I too had a moment of levity reading your depreciating assessment of this "premium" liquid. Have you tried G2 Mr Cookie or Mrs Lords Custard Cream since I found those to be rather good in an rda (origen). I don't use tanks at all at home and have to use particularly potent juices to get decent flavor generally from tank systems.

Yeah maybe and I mean 'maybe' I'm not getting the best of this juice as it is max VG. But I dunno, 30W at .5ohms - if that's not enough I'm not interested TBH.

I get excellent flavours from my tanks - Nautilus mini (only use my PG juices) and my subtank Nano. This IS the thickest juice I've used however, thicker than Suicide Bunny even and all the youtube reviews, they all use RDA's, so maybe this juice is not meant for my subtanks. Either way I'll still vape it, probably thin it down a bit with some PG and then move on once it's gone.

I still think though these premium juices are over hyped and over priced for what they are; some PG, VG, nic and food flavouring. It's not exactly the same as brewing a micro beer or growing the grapes and casking and fermenting wine, let's not kid ourselves.... But then again vapers are not a big number of people, so they have to have high mark up to survive I guess.... Meh, I'm still vaping my Hangsen RY6 right now and have been since this morning, not bored of it and just as good IMHO, though with the cheap ones you have to try a lot and throw away a lot of rank ones before you find the ones you like, with the premiums, even if I think they are over hyped and over priced, at least they're still a decent vape and nothing you just have to throw down the sink ha ha.

It gets worse. Not a fan of max VG.

Next time, 50PG/50VG max for me.

I thinned this out with mixing it half and half with Hangsen RY4, much nicer vape now.

Not sure if it's the high VG or the flavouring in the original G2 juice, but it always left a nasty thin waxy layer over my tongue and inside of my mouth, like I'd opened my mouth, stuck out my tongue and someone had taken a strawberry chapstick to it, yuck. Made me bring up phlem too.

Ah well, at least I know I can thin it and also will make it last longer is an upside . I prefer the slight drier texture the PG adds to the vapour blend, max VG if this is what it's like - not a fan.

Wouldn't buy this juice again unless it was 50/50. And more affordable.

lol ... this juice went from the " best ever tried ", to being significantly improved after being mixed with some cheap Chinese juice ... in less than 24 hours !!

Not having a go at Hangsen btw, i actually think their tobaccos are as good as if not better than the vast majority of higher priced synthetic tobacco juices n the market. Just found your experience amusing.

It is what it is ha ha. It is bloody lovely in it's current Mr Oh Cookie Face + RY4 concoction, but was 'meh' before.

And heck, it's in keeping with the spirit of the juice as it is a collaboration between Beantown Vapor ( OH Face) and G2 Vapor, (Mr Cookie) to begin with. So now I have 'MY OH 4 Cookie RY Face.'

It's a goodun'!

(Maybe as this is a max VG kind of juice my subtank just cannot do it justice, like I said in all the youtube reviews they drip it, so..... Just my experience... YMMV.)
