After trying one personally, I thought it was great to start.
I saw the need to boost up the voltage in the 4.5ish range.

After so long I think I did some damage at that voltage and things werent so great.
Tried one on eGo and things were great.

I was then planning on not stocking anymore, but some actually like them.
So it is hard to say.

As with everything, some will absolutely love them, so will hate them.
I think they are not for me, as I kinda like to drip or use a normal carto.

I bought 3 boxes of G4 empty Cartomizers - 808d & 1 box of G4 Cartomizers for the 510. I am through one whole pack (have not opened the others) and each and every one of them leaks badly on from the middle hole of the battery end. I have tried all the trick I could find on other vendor sites about these cartomizers, but no luck in fixing them. Please advise on any help you can givew.

I also noticed, that unlike the ones I had bought a while back from another vendor, these do not come apart without breaking both tubes (inner and outer) totally. The glue is hard and very, very strong, so one can not get into the middle to clean the coil. I bought replacement tubes at in the same order, just in case, but it looks like I won't be able to use them if needed, since the old tubes will not come off without leaving a lot of hard glue residue. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

I have never had them leak before when using the rubber mouth piece.
I did have them leak once, but put the rubber back in, and they stopped leaking out the center tube.

The G4's are supposed to be refilled 4 times and then tossed.
I never read or heard of the tubes being replaced.
And in the few days of their life, the tube shouldnt be cracking in a any way to need to replace.

After time, I have had the glue get soft, and then the tube pull away for the threads, but it was after quite many refills.

Hope this helps

I just got my order of 808 G4s yesterday and love the first one I opened! I'm amazed at the flavor of my 24mg menthol juice without the poly. I've successfully filled the first one twice so far.

I filled the second one tonight. After a couple great tasting hits, I was just holding it by the battery in my hand while reading on the forums here. After a few minutes, I noticed it had emptied itself out the bottom into my 808 xl battery. Then, the third one I filled hadn't even been connected to a battery yet and half of it actually flowed onto my desk and had to be emptied back into the bottle while I was messaging about the problem with the second one at the goodprophets site! There is definitely a fault in the construction of these.

I simply opened the fresh packs, removed the tip, filled juice down the side to approx 3/16" of where the tip would insert to and carefully re-inserted the original tip. Like I said, the first one works great. The second and third might as well be sections of drinking straw. :(

I've since refilled the first one and it's still working like a champ. Go figure. I'm now afraid to fill the last two in the pack.

Update: I went ahead and tried the remaining two G4 units from my 5 pack. I filled the fourth right before bed last night and it seemed to be doing great. I got a few good pulls off of it and then removed it from the battery and stood it on my desk. I woke this morning to find the carto had a new juice moat.

I got a bit smarter with the last one. I filled it with a simple 20/80 vodka/VG solution - nothing added but some dissolved menthol crystals. I got one small pull from it. On the second pull, juice was gurgling and flooding up the tube toward my vape hole.

Maybe the manufacturer simply got in a rush to fill orders for a new product that is currently in high demand and flubbed a batch or two. I don't know, but I absolutely could not recommend the G4s to anybody at this time. The first one from my pack is still going strong after 3 days, though; odd. It just goes to show that the only thing one can be positively certain of is nothing is absolute.

Hey, at least these don't hold 3ml each, so the waste was somewhat minimal. :p Still, it was a couple days' vaping cleaned from my desk. That hurt... just a little.

Somewhat off topic: The auto XL battery my first bleeder ran through is miraculously still hanging in there. I've left it standing upright on my desk since the incident and get a few more drops out every once in a while. I take a few pulls from it every time I check it for juice evacuation. I am astounded by this, as it easily had over 1ml run right into it, and here I believed fate was handing me a batt connector to make my first box mod. I may still pull it apart to clean it thoroughly and see what makes it tick (especially if it starts ticking!).

On an entirely related note: Good Prophets stands by their merchandise and Rob rocks!

I wish they would have had some kind og grooves inside on it so the rubber cap can latcfh onto it instead of just falling off so easily. Its like the made the cap upside down, the ribs should go inside and have coresponding rings that the fit between, who agrees?

EDIT: Just push the rubber cap down further into the cart until all grooves are inside of it and it wont pop of easily at all! I feel like a dummy haha.

I honestly can't decide if I like my G4's or not. I ordered earlier this week, rec'd them in record time (of course) and immediately loaded one with a mixture of 0nic peach and 8mg cherry tobacco, both from BWB, that I've been using in a CE2 clearo. The pro's are easy to define right off the bat - just pop the top off and fill. Replace the tip (after fiddling with every drip-tip in the house to see if I have a preference) and vape. The clear juices look ridiculously cool in this setup, but I'm still bummed that I couldn't fit my ego cone over the carto.

Great vapor production, for sure, but super-light TH, which one would expect from my ego/low-nic setup anyway. But I feel like I'm taking about three primer puffs to get a good inhale - on the bright side, it's a room filler that way, if you like that sort of thing. I'm guessing the super-cool (well, it's cool vapor and it's "cool" i guess) bottom-fed design is tricking my brain into thinking i'm not getting a good inhale.

So I loaded a slightly higher nic level (COV CY4 at 16mg I think?) and have a curious every-other-drag reaction w/TH - some drags are, well, a drag. Then some I'm coughing and spluttering. Very odd.

Both juices taste fantastic in the setup, though. In fact, even though the first was loaded w/about 80/20 cherry tob. to peach, the peach is almost overwhelming on this thing.

One thing is for sure, I appreciate the heck out of the solder-less design. I don't think any kind of solder in our carts/cartos/attys is a good idea, so I'm glad to see more manufacturers addressing this issue.

Would I recommend it? Probably based on the easy-fill and solderless design, with quite a few warnings that this is a different vaping experience entirely.
