Is one carto the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes?
Will they last longer if I top them off before any noticeable decline in taste?
Should I clean them after so much juice is run through them or just keep topping off until they fail?

Well doc, it depends on how much the person smoked. I found that one carto was NOT the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes. Cleaning does depend on the quality of the vape. If vapor production seems to be waning, and or taste, it's best to clean the carto or just ditch and get a new one. Hope this helps a little.

Well, too much nic will cause you to over-nic. Regardless of the experience of the user. ( I did it 2 or 3 times in the past 2 weeks, using new equipment, new juice, and going to a bar and vaping like it was my job!!!)

I think nic content is primary. Vaping technique is secondary. Both are important.

And yes, you do need to observe and monitor. (another reason to have another small bottle of lower nic juice.)

And the advice I give all vapers, "It's OK to put it down every so often."

I'm so glad you are researching, asking questions, becoming knowledgeable.

(As opposed to just buying something, tossing it at her and saying, "Here ya go...")
