In my opinion, once you have the Triton, the g6 is likely to collect dust.

I love my g6, don't get me wrong, but only for what it is, which is a small battery. The Triton totally kicks its ..... You may feel like you want the smaller battery for discretion... I did... But once I had the Triton, o got over that really quick and use the Triton everywhere now.

Well, you live in New Orleans where vaping is widely accepted and practiced....I live in Smalltown, Alabama...when I tell you I will be the ONLY one in my local bar vaping, I MEAN I will be the ONLY one! So, the G6 probably won't collect much dust! Vaping has been a little slow to catch on....LOL

I still go outside to vape, unless it is just one or two hits... out of respect for others... (well depending... some flavor don't give off any aroma so I will chain vape that in public.) And I don't think a G6 is needed for public or work, unless you don't want people to notice, it is still a fairly small device compared to some other models.

I would definitely stick with the mini tanks for most juices. Make sure if you know you'll be away from a charger for a while that both batts are fully charged. Don't stick them in your pocket if you can avoid it. Enjoy it :) great systems all the way around in my opinion and you'll be glad to have both

The G6 is a GREAT cig-a-like. I bought 4 auto batteries and used them exclusively for 5 months before upgrading. The LR cartos are the best for a warm vape, which helps making the transition from stinkies. The mini tanks are a big step above cartomizers, yet still nowhere near as good as Triton tanks and coils. I haven't used a G6 since receiving the Triton. The 1300mAh lasts at least 5 times longer between charges, produces considerably more vapor, plus the flavor to match, and it is only $7 more than a G6 battery.

If I could do it all over again, I would skip the starter kits and order the higher mAh batteries and chargers/tanks/juice separately, in whatever color you love. However, you really need to try a sample tin or two of Halo's ejuice before you can nail down a flavor you're happy with for general all day consumption.

Fair enough. I would, without reservation, recommend the g6 to anyone set on a cigalike.

I was recommended Mig Cigs when i bought my halo triton at my local vendor. Tried both the G6 and the Migs. I bought the the Migs since the throat hit was night and day and has a huge throat hit that did it for me and pretty much as they say it hits as good as the first hit. Still waiting for my juice for my triton though :/, cant even wait to try it. Damn you usps!!!!!

I have the G6 and Triton, Cartomizers, Mini tanks and Triton tanks. Okay let's start from scratch. In the kit you will get a wall charger this is the same that comes in the Triton kit. plus you will get the USB G6 charger which is only for the G6. (Do not use it on the Triton batteries)

G6 starter kit- You have a few decisions to make. Color of course is your preference. The red, blue, purple and pink are all beautiful. One thing to consider if you choose white is that us women will end up staining the white batteries from make-up on our fingers.

Choice of 2 batteries either 65mm or 78mm- I recommend getting both batteries 78mm it is a little longer than the 65mm and it will get you a little longer battery life. When they have a cartomizer on them the 65 is about as long as a 100's cig and the 78 is about as long as the 120's.

Choice of 2 batteries either manual or automatic- I recommend getting one of each. Manual's are good for doing a dry burn on the mini tanks plus with the manual there is no need to do a primer puff. It does seem weird pressing a button to start with but then it will seem natural. The automatics are good because they simulate smoking, you draw on it like a cig and that is what activates the battery. You may end up preferring one over the other but with both you'll know the difference and what you prefer.

A pack of Cartomizers - Choice of 5 Blanks in alot of colors or 5 in a certain flavor. I would recommend getting black blanks that you can fill with the flavor YOU want. You can also choose the 5 blank low-resistance cartos if you feel like you would like a warmer vape. I bought these and tried them and I don't like them. I was a menthol smoker because I liked the "cool" feeling I got from smoking. I like the same when vaping. I just prefer a cooler vape. You may be different. I don't even drink coffee because it is hot. I'd just get the plain black blanks, if your curious about the low-res I'll send you a few of mine to try. Also you can get different color cartos but I'd get the black because they will go with any color battery. The last thing you want is a red carto and your red battery dies then having to put the red on a blue Triton. Black is just easier. LOL

Also if you want you can get a drip tip for 3.49 it is under the G6 accessories. These are only for cartomizers not the mini tanks.

I would get a few mini tanks too. The best thing about the mini tanks is they are easier to refill then the cartos. Cartos are not hard to fill but you have to be patient while the juice soaks in, you don't have to do that with the mini's. You will need to just try both because the mini tanks are just a little warmer than cartos and some juices that will gunk up a mini tank will vape better in a carto.

And remember you can use cartos and the mini tanks on your Triton battery too.

I can't post pictures from this iPad so I'll take a picture of my batteries and the different sizes and setups so you can see for yourself.

Be back in a minute............

On the left is a 100 cig and next to that is an older white 65mm battery stained with makeup. The rest are 78mm G6 and then the Tritons 650 then the Triton VV battery. The $ is there for size contrast - all bills are 6 inches long.

I hope this helps and you can zoom in on the picture.

It's nice to have all the units side by side for comparison, thanks Evie!

If someone is in doubt about Halo's G6 kit, they should check out this article from PC Mag.

You would be amazed at how stealthy a 400Mah Triton can be!

That being said, the G6 is a great cig-a-like, and it got me completely off analogs for two weeks before getting a Triton.

PC magazine gave it Editor's Pick :

Halo G6 E-Cigarettes Review & Rating | PCMag.com

Also, I agree with others that the best way to experience it is with the mini tanks. You may prefer the carts, just sayin'.

Oh, Evie, this might be a task for the Reverend and myself.

Naw, on second thought, Rev has enough to minister to.

Just wondering, if all your bats are charged up, how long could you vape if you could not recharge?
