I've got several external batteries like this. I just want that usb-ego adapter!!!

so do you think the USB ego adaptor alone would work as a passthru? if you plugged it into a powered usb cord, could you vape?

I'm sure it could, but there would be no switch. Soon as you plug it in it would fire the atomizer. I'm assuming the usb cord is rated high enough, and that the usb-eGo adapter is just a simple solder job of pos to pos and neg to neg, just made to look clean.

I didn't try it but the instructions said no. It said it would just b keep giving power to the carto etc.
and yes it actually did come with instructions lol

U could plug the pass through with wire in the pic though...

Ah. i see. its funny that the instructions addressed that. its also weird that the button is on it, yet does not function as youd expect. im sure a passthru like this could easily be made. but regardless, this device is still pretty cool. so what does the button do, does it fire or is that what you use to adjust voltage?

I believe the button is to adjust voltage. So you would need an external battery with a on/off button (which most have)

So this would be good for those of us who like to alternate flavors, wouldn't it? Or mix flavors, without the mess!
It should be redesigned so that those two atomizers can be disguised as rabbit ears, or giraffe horns, or whatever else...Lots of creative artistic possibilities.

updatable software!?!?! WHY?! Also, I worry this will be like windows, where I go to take a puff and have to wait 10 mins for updates to be installed. Or maybe it will run MacOS, and only accept one type of atty that costs $50, works only for a week, and makes all juices taste like sewage.

It looks nifty. I followed this link from pbusardo's page Joyetech New Innovation eVic(Vapor Intelligent Cigarette) Launching and was struck by this statement.

Apart from the above features, we particularly created a software called "My Vapor Record" MVR(V1.0), it's able to record all the information starting from the day you use it. It shows all the parameters from the begining, like voltage, atomizer resistance, smoking puffs, power, etc During your random smoking, it records all your using data and habit, bringing you brand-new feelings and joys in your spare time.

Sounds naughty. I'll probably wait until at least the 3rd "service pack"
