Whats the difference in size between a 1000 & a 1100? Is it longer or shorter, or maybe thinner?

If they ARE the same size, then why isnt anyone telling me to get a 1300?

If I try, say, vanilla ejuice from BlahBlah company and dont like it, how will I know what it is abt it I dont like? How would I know if a 24 nic vanilla is what I'm looking for instead of an 18? Not being able to kick the "urge" for nic? What abt if its not evn the liquid but something to do with the parts?

Speaking of parts ... someone told me I should start off w/a 2 ohm, but what Im looking at is 2.4, what would be the difference?

No one is recomending you the 1300 because you said that size does matter

to get a better idea most 650 batteries measure about 6.5 cm in lenght, the 900 will measure 9cm if you want a twist or spinner add another inch to that number and you get the overall battery size

Girl! You haven't ordered yet?! ;)

I don't know much about the battery sizes. I'm not meaning to sound rude or anything, but it sounds to me like you maybe just need to order something and see how it goes. Your batteries should last a good long while, but they will eventually die, or you will decide to upgrade. It's not like buying something that's going to last years. So you don't have to get exactly the right thing the very first try. Or, go to a vapor shop and check some things out in person. Probably nobody is recommending 1300 because you seemed concerned about batteries being too big earlier in the thread (if I am remembering correctly).

As far as the juices... I'd recommend ordering sample packs from a couple of different vendors. You are right, you are not going to have much to go on in the beginning. You won't be sure that your equipment is working properly or if its the juice. Ordering several different flavors from several different vendors will give you an idea of the variety and will help you start to narrow down what you like and what you don't like.

it sounds to me that you are asking questions and delaying the purchase to buy a bit more time for you to smoke!!
just get something already and don't worry about quitting yet, just try it out while you are smoking, don't make the commitment yet to quit, just to buy... that should make it more easy for you.

that's exactly what I told my father in law (2 PAD for 35 years) now with a twist and a kanger t3s he is smoking less than half a pack and cutting down

maniacal, i am not sure of a B&M in chicago (the guys from Hotvapes were great to talk to a vapebash, i have never made it to the shop tho) but if you can i recommend taking a trip out to cigtechs in Hanover Park. It is well worth the trip and all the guys there are top notch and willing to help. Also Welcome to the forum!! Welcome to Cigtechs - Quality electronic cigarettes

Hahahah! NOOOO, I want to order it! I'm going to do that now. I mean, it'll be done before I have to leave in an hour and a half.

I'm going with the ego style. I figure even having heard my part on how size matters and everyone is STILL saying ego, well, I figure I came here for YOUR advice~the advice of the PROS. I have to go with that.

I guess it shouldn't matter so much. I wanted to save enough money to buy as much liquid/spares as possible, but some of these are going to take up all my funds anyway. Eh.

Enough stalling. I'll be back in an hour or I'm a chicken.

OHM! What abt ohm?! Someone said 2, these are higher. Some of them dont even say! I HATE kits, they never have everything I want but I'm too crazy to pick them seperately, that would take me years.

The only purple they have is 1300. I mean ... is that the same width? Color matters A LOT. I am dead set on purple.

If you are getting a twist or a spinner, it doesn't really matter what resistance (ohm) you choose. You will be able to make pretty much anything work.

The ohms refers to the electrical resistance of the wire coil inside the atomizer/clearomizer/cartomizer. For, say, a 1.8 ohm coil, most people would vape that at around 3.7 volts set on the battery. For a 2.5 ohm coil, most would be vaping at 4.2-4.5 volts. This varies with a particular juice or a particular persons preferences.

Many if the clearomizer tanks (evod, protank, vivi nova, etc...) have replaceable heads that you can get with different resistance. You can get a protank head in 1.8, 2.2, or 2.5 (something like that). So, if you decide you prefer one or the other later, all you have to do is replace the heads.

I have the 900 ego style (plain, no twist/spinner which adds length) and I find it the perfect size to take with me in the car, etc. Also, it lasts all day. That might be why one 650 is longer than the other... it's a twist/spinner. Good luck! :)

The Mini Kanger Pro Tank fits perfectly on a 900 also and it's glass.

Too funny, you will never have the perfect setup..This is the first of many purchases to come...You got some good advice and try not to over think it, ok..

I tell my friends to go to a vape store and get something to get their feet wet and then go from there...It will never end after that first purchase...Do it already..

:) Maniacal I was in the same boat as it appears you are in now. It really is easier than it appears to be in the beginning.

IMHO the advice to go check out a B&M shop is spot on and ordering samples is the way to go also. I would also suggest that you keep it as simple and cheap in the beginning as possible.

There are sooo many different possibilities out there, it's (I may be wrong here) near impossible to nail your "perfect setup" right out of the gate. Your tastes/preferences are going to change etc etc as time goes on so stay simple at first.

Don't get me wrong I am all for making informed decisions but it's also very easy (at least for myself) to fall into analytical paralysis with all the different possibilities right out of the gate.

You're in the right place for information that's for sure, I don't think I would have even started if it weren't for all the help I received on ECF.

If I could get an answer abt the 1300 I might be able to put my credit card info in, lol.
Just so u dont have to scroll, I wanted to know if the 1300 is thicker than the 900 or anything smaller numbered, I guess. They only have my purple in 1300 :( I had planned on doing the 650/1000 combo.
I cant imagine how many ppl do these posts and how often u guys have to just push ppl off a cliff. Aye aye.

Hey Maniacal,

I had to have a purple Vamo V2 so I'm with you on purple. The 1300 will not be thicker, just a bit longer. Go for it. You can do it and it will work out. Even if you just cut the cigarettes back, it is still a victory and there is a great chance you cut them out. Relax and pull the trigger.

Hopefully you take this well, seems you chose an appropriate handle ;)

I just want u all to know that I sat down, filled out EVERYTHING, and when I went to order shipping I realized that shipping was not included. So I am $% short. :( And I have to leave for an appt. I'm sad. I wanted it to go out today, I doubt it will now that I wont be home for another 6 hrs. *sigh* I cant win!

Try vapegeek or vaporbeast for free shipping, although there are plenty of places with really reasonable shipping prices (like less than 3 bucks). Might wanna check out the coupons link on the site to see if you can get 5 to 15 percent off at many places. That will usually make up for more than shipping cost.
