Haha... check out this build I just did. 24g kanthal, 12 wraps each (so 24 total on each coil), comes out to .3 ohms. Atty is tobh v3 26650 (clone), needs airholes drilled out. I swear I'm putting 3 mls of juice in there. Takes awhile to heat up but gives me an incredible hit, as a side note...battery life SUCKS when you build this low.

those are some great looking coils

I made 2 coils with 24 guaqe kanthal and it came out to .40 ohms -----had to stop with the wraps could not fit cover back on --hahahahahahh

good job on your build----thetrucker

Thanks for the nod truck. If you know how to use a pin vise (many of us more mature do) you can make one helluva pair of parallels. Always preferred twised pair for the density as parallels tend to spread with use and go hot. But winding with tension which I introduced here on ECF gives them rigidity that torching can't (impairs the surface) and twisting the leads, another adaptation I recently added, holds together the geometry and strain. You know these are not new technologies or methods. I marvel at how absent of known established techniques vaping is. They scoff at well known electrical principle here as if it never existed, never worked.

I gather maybe you caught one of my posts or pictures. This stable quad pair (below) of tensioned twisted center leads is still running since last Summer. I can't bear to take it down and all I vape on it is tobacco at .25Ω.

But simple 6-turn 30awg parallels on 2.5mm will get ya easily down to .5Ω for a smooth, cool, dense vape. Like a comfortable productive pipe or cigar just settling in. Mellow and warm.

If you can muster the tension truck give it a shot. You'll thank yourself for trying.

Good luck.

:)

Thanks! It was a fun experiment, all that surface area really gives a giant hit. To be honest the ramp up time it takes to get all that coil nice and hot makes it fairly impractical for regular use though, heh.
