Tried to hold out til the VV Woodvils would come back....thought I'd give Robert a break to give him a chance to build more Woodvils....but could not....order placed for another REO.....VV Grand, on its way!

To the Batcave, time to build more coils.

Hmm, with the VV Grands, can I still go LR and how low?

Thanks...hmm, I was just getting use to 0.5-1.0 ohms.

not to worry. chances are you can dial in the VVG at 2.x to vape just like a Grand at lower ohms.

i have a tendency to be too conservative or lose count and overwrap my coils. those coils just go to the VVs.

With the VV Grand you can/should go with higher ohm coils....then adjust the wattage using the voltage adjustment because the batteries will last longer if you use them at the higher end of the voltage wheel. That's my understanding, at least. Even if the batteries don't last any longer on a charge, I think it's better for them overall and they will last longer (in months) because it's not as hard on them.

I can't remember who it was... pdib? statistic? ...but someone came up with the numbers that show a 2.0Ω coil lets you use the entire voltage range capability of the VV.
