So I decided it was time to get a mod. Having found the Greensmokes and the Red Label flavor of cartos, I came off the cancer sticks and stayed off for about 6 and a half month till a dead battery did me in and I pick up the butts again. Now I've come back to the GS's till all my mod components arrive and I'm not sure I went the right route.

What I got was a 3.7 Box Mod from MadVapes with a Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer to go on top. Now, I went with the tank because i don't want to have to mess with the thing all day aside from changing a battery now and then or swapping cartos, so I figured the tank would be appropriate.

What I think I need help with is all the options for cartos. I would love to hear recommendations for cartos that will last and will hold enough juice to get me through a day of med-heavy vaping (I can kill a GS Carto in about a day to a day and a half).

vaping style: With my GS's I usually take 3-4 successive pulls or about 4sec each. That might change with the new mod, IDK.

So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :?:

Dual coil cartos may not work all that well on 3.7V so you might want to go with something like the Resurrector. Even if you go for dual coils, the best way to use them in a tank is to punch them yourself. This will fit in the tank.

I use a "1/4'' self tapping saddle valve" (from any hardware store). It's cheap and as if made for punching cartos.

I also recommend that you fill a carto as you would if you were to vape it outside the tank before sticking it in the tank - that way you do not risk burning it if you vape it before it had a chance to wick from the tank.

You want something you can fill and forget? Get a Vision Stone 3.
They're 2.1-2.3ohms. There's no carto at all to mess with or to slip out. They won't leak. The top and bottom screw on and you can replace the innards when they finally burn out for $2.75. They also hold about 3-3.5ml of fluid.
The whole thing is self-contained and it works pretty well even with thick juice.
No holes to punch, no cartos to fill. Just unscrew the top, dump your juice in and vape.
Mine have lasted several weeks with no sign of slowing down.
When you want to change flavors, just rinse them out, dry burn if necessary and fill them back up again with the new flavor.
You don't have to mess around with keeping track of used cartos or swapping cartos with every flavor change.
They're about $10 at Gotvapes and the replacement innards are $2.75.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions. I did go ahead and order an ego kit last night from madvapes and added a few of the smoktech 1.7 cartos to the order. Now if my house of vapors order's in the mailbox today i'll finally be able to fire this thing up and see what vaping's supposed to be like.

@elfstone: thanks for the link. looks like you just changed my carto vendor.

@sailorman: i read decent things about the stone 3 so i may just give it a try.

Thanks again for all the help guys
