Hello again folks I hope all of you are having a great day, today's review is on a new device from Geekvape that was supplied to me in a kit form. The tank that is included with the kit is the Zeus Sub Ohm tank, I won't be covering the tank to much today because Iv'e already reviewed it https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/threads/zeus-sub ohm-tank-reviewed-by-bigbob2322.920065/ and the star of the show is really the Aegis Max. The Aegis Max is a salute to the original Aegis 100W device Geekvape introduced quite a while ago that ran off of a single 26650 battery. There have been many devices in the Aegis line since then and most used either a built in battery or a single or duel 18650 until now. We all have wished for a 21700 battery device from Geekvape and they answered with the Aegis Max, before I review the new member in the Aegis lineup lets get to know it better.

INITIAL IMPRESSIONS
When I opened the package I was surprised at the size of the device compared to the Aegis 100 and Aegis Solo. Aegis 100 in camo, Aegis Solo in red and Aegis Max in black.
The Aegis Max has a much bigger 510 top plate that fits a 30mm tank or larger with ease.
The battery compartment cover remains the same as the original and the solo, a battery cover assist tool is provided for people that might have weakness in their hands, remember it's IP 67 rated so the battery cover must be tight to be waterproof.
The Aegis Max has a set of new buttons that I like better than the Original and Solo Aegis.
The USB port is located at the bottom of the device and blends in almost seamlessly.
The Aegis Max has correct battery placement markers on both the battery cover and also the battery housing that shows a red X for the positive side of the battery.
The menu is exactly the same as the Aegis Solo that I reviewed GEEKVAPE AEGIS SOLO REVIEW FROM bigbob2322. The Max and Zeus pair up nicely together and both have been performing great and having the extra mAH of a 21700 without that big of a size difference from the Solo gets me through a day instead of carrying a extra battery as I did with the Aegis Solo.
I also like that Geekvape included a 18650 battery adapter also. Geekvape did a great job on their first 21700 device and I'm also happy that is was done on a Aegis mod. I'm going to do a pros and cons below and for cons your going to see a 0 because I can't find a thing wrong with this mod or tank.
PROS
* IP 67 RATING
* ATTRACTIVE
* CAN FIT A 30MM OR BIGGER TANK
* TRIED AND TRUE MENU
* WILL FIT A 18650 BATTERY WITH SUPPLIED ADAPTER
* FIRMWARE CAN BE UPGRADED
* DEVICE ROUND ROBINS
* FAST SCROLLING
* NOT MUCH BIGGER THAN A SOLO
* TEMP CONTROL
* POWER CURVE
* BYPASS
* TCR
* BRIGHT SCREEN
CONS
0
WISH LIST
* COLOR SCREEN
So there you have it folks, Iv'e had this kit for a few weeks evaluating it trying to find something I didn't like or find a flaw in either the device or tank and could not find one only that the Zeus Sub Tank is very thirsty but that just means you always have a saturated coil. The Aegis Max has taken over my work mod position from my trusty Aegis Solo.
I would like to thank Clay and Geekvape for providing this kit for review and I would also like to thank all of you folks and hope this review helped in anyone's decision about picking up the Aegis Max kit. It's a winner folks
THANK YOU
