I also want to add a Thank You to @stols001 and @Letitia

For providing information and suggestions regarding rebuilding. I am finding it fun, frustrating, and gives a sense of accomplishment all at the same time, plus as long as I have wire and cotton there is no need to buy coils for these tanks.(a very big cost savings right there)

I could see that happening, with my really small 28 ga wire there is plenty of air flow that would not be there with a clapton or alien type coil.

To me, 1.5ohm is sky high resistance:rolleyes:, worse still, you are restricting the airflow to such extend:w00t:.

If I were you, to do MTL with ZEUS, I will use less wraps spaced coil and at lower ohm, range from 0.5-0.7 ohm (since you are using a 28ga Kanthal wire)

Btw, to me the best part of Zeus tank is its AF system, it is a waste if you are not taking advantage from that... in a way, I think Zeus is not designed for a strictly restrictive MTL.

Finished building my Zeus for the first time.
3rd coil I have built ever.
Was shooting for a 1.5 ohm coil ended up 1.12 ohm. wicked , primed, assembled, and then filled and left to sit for a few.
Still have to find my sweet spot for the wattage but at about 25w is actually more vapor and flavor than pretty much the same build in the Ammit 25.
top cap is giving me a bit of trouble getting it to lock back into place is so far the biggest negative for me.But that is prob more me than the tank . lol
I had the same issue, then figured out I had put the air flow ring in upside down. Try turning that, it should close easily.

While I would not use mtl on Zeus I find it useful to know that at least a restricted draw can be achieved successfully. Now others will know they may enjoy the Zeus as well. I love it's smooth af, best af in my rotation even at only 50% open.

Got my Zeus in on Saturday. I've only had time to build one coil and run one tank of juice through it so far. Early impressions are....I really like this tank. It's a little awkward to build on but I'm sure I'll get used to it. It seems to be machined really well...nicely made. Nice vape, I like the top air flow. I am super happy with this. I might have to think about buying another one.

Good to hear. What coil did you go with?

Really? 3 - 4 wraps of 28g, maybe in a Protank coil head...

The Zeus's post holes are too far apart for a subohm 28g build, unless you are doing a triple parallel build.
