So far the only complaint I have with the Zeus is a minor flooding issue with the first 4-5 hits after I fill it up. I am guessing that it it a wicking issue (probably because I am new to RTAs), but I figured I would bring it up to see if anyone else is getting that.

After about 5 hits it clears up and works beautifully.

Had flooding issue as well, but that’s because I used very little cotton and I cut the cotton too short.
Now I just put the legs on the very bottom +3mm and spread the legs on the floor.

What ready made coils would you recommend to a noob who wants to buy his first rta? I currently use a supertank 0.5 ohm at 29 watts. I prefer flavour over clouds any day. Ex smoker trying to quit. I want to get the Zeus with all the rave reviews here. But I don't want to build just yet.

I am a big fan of Advanced Vape Supply, AVS, pre-built coils. They have charts that will show you estimated Ω of various coils. They only sell ss coils/wire. You can use in t or power mode. Great customer service, if you message them on site during business hours they will help you find coils for your style of vaping.

Thank you. The picture helped alot. Adjusted the wick about an hour ago with a new shake n vape (strawberry fog) and it has turned out awesome. Now I just have to have fun messing around with tweaking everything to my liking.

I agree with @Letitia on AVS - they are great. There is also a guy on Ebay who does beautiful coils at a great price. There are two on the DIYORDIE FB page who make gorgeous coils. They like to do the exotic kinds but if they can build those, they could build nice simple coils that would suit you. The best price is probably on the Demon Killer which come in a variety pack of 48 with 6 each of different types. You can find those on Amazon I think.

The Demon Killer coils are Kanthal. The 2nd link is 316L SS. I haven't seen SS Demon Killer coils domestically. It must be new for them.

So far so good on my gunmetal Zeus. I've been vaping it exclusively since it arrived Monday afternoon. The flavor is on par with the Ammit 25's and Merlins that I had been using. It's been pretty busy around here, so I'm just using a spaced 24ga coil at the moment. I'll be spinning up some Claptons to install in it and really see what it will do. The best part....I haven't had to wipe off nary a drop of eliquid on my mods.

I haven't tried 24ga ss on the zeus yet but plan on it. I started with claptons in both and am getting really good flavor but remembered that I seemed to get better flavor on the obs nano with 24ga.

I’m having vacuum issues on the second refill. Constantly have to prime it or open the juice cap to get some air in. I’m Vaping at 25watts and at times have to drop it to 20 watts to avoid dry hit.

Going to try a different wicking setup first.

I just watched a funny but good video about the Zeus on YT from VapingWithTwisted420. Some of you might enjoy it and he has some wicking tips. If you have never watched any of his videos, he uses a lot of words that might be offensive to some, so don't watch it if that bothers you.

I haven't had that crop up with mine. Hate to see you are having problems. Have you watched a few of the yt vids? They do help.
