It does fine with high vg liquids. I normally run 12mg in mine and was a 24-32mg mtl user in the past. I'm not sure how that coil will be since I always use Clapton wire. I'm sure it'll be fine though. I run two of mine in TC curve mode and they seem to do fine.
Thank you for that, i am looking forward to trying this tank out. Like i said i only MTL but fancied having a DL tank for a change of pace. I wanted single coil and no leaking. All my research brought me to the Zeus. I hope it was a good choice. My only other DL tank was the original Merlin but the seeping got old.

    Somewhere between here and there
I had seeping issues with all four of the Merlins I had. The Zeus is my favorite tank. I have three in rotation right now and a fourth on the way for back up. I'm going to pick up more when I see them on sale. I've got a couple of the merlin mtl tanks and they've been pretty good so far but I like the zeus better.

I have two merlins, both would go days on end without leaking then just suddenly start for no reason. Bottom airflow and press fit is a bad combination i think. I have been using several Doggystyle 2K16's for over a year without a single leak. I really wanted to make sure if i got another DL tank it did not leak. I am not planning to change from my Doggies, just fancy a little DL here and there.

The Zeus is alot more airy then the Merlin. I usually prefer a somewhat restricted DTL . Closing down the airflow on the Zeus produces great flavor and turbulence is never an issue with mine. Somehow I got lucky with my Merlin as it has never leaked/seeped a drop of eliquid but is a little too restrictive even with the largest airflow adapter.I don't know if I would condemn all bottom airflow and/or press fit atties as my Subtanks and Toptanks never leak either.:)
I think you will really like the Zeus Dub.

You were one of the lucky ones Vinny, all three of my Merlin bases seeped badly. ccwaters had a fix for the seeping with a different o-ring. I never bothered doing it to mine because they were long since piffed to a buddy.

My black iJoy EXO is still going even after I fixed the resistance jumping with a little emery cloth and pressing the deck back in.

I use my Merlin without AF adapter, the AF is close to Zeus when its AFC are opened fully.

I bought a few of these. Coiled and wicked one just right. 2nd one gave me trouble. Couldn't get it back together right. Almost like it would not screw together right or like the glass was a smidgen short. Went on to the 3rd one and no problem. I have to admit I fiddled with the 2nd one a little. Like pulled it all the way apart and stuff. Anyone else ever had this problem?

I only have one and it can be a little finicky screwing the bottom back together. Be careful not to cross thread it.:)

Not sure what material they are but I did use one. In power mode though. They worked fine for me.:)
Thank you for that. I ordered mine on Monday morning and it arrived this morning. Pretty good California to Pennsylvania in two days with free shipping! Unfortunately my wire was not as quick so i guess i will try one of the coils out. Just stripped it down and currently taking a bath.

I was wondering if anybody tried the coils that come with the Zeus? Waiting on wire so when it arrives i might try them out. Are the any good and does anybody know what material they are? I guess power mode only? Thank you for any help.
The bottom of the GV Zeus page says they are the N80 Alpha Braid's.

Thank you. I just fired it up with the provided coil. Lots of gurgling at first with juice coming up around and in the drip tip. It now seems to have stopped. No idea on best power for these but seems good at 30 watts. Really enjoying it but i feel i might need to cut down on nicotine. I normally average around 25 mg in my Doggystyle for MTL. I started at 10 mg in this and feel i might need to drop to maybe 6 mg. After juicing the coil and wick i never fired it up before vaping.Maybe that was the cause of the Gurgling? I am new to different wires, normally only use single wire. Looking forward to trying it in TC when my fused SS claptons get here.

The Zeus is not really a MTL tank, more of a restricted DL. I run a single 3.5mm 22ga coil in mine around 65W so I'm not the best one to suggest a lower wattage build. I still use a Rose V2 for my MTL stuff. ;)

I got the Zeus for DL not MTL, i have my Doggystyles for MTL. I ordered some 3.5 mm SS fused claptons 28 ga x2/ 40 ga to try but they are not here yet. Definitely getting quite a nicotine rush at 10 mg in the Zeus. So far i am really liking the tank.
