I just sometimes wish that the nic liquid was in a gelatin form that could fit my cartridge perfectly and melt slowly, like a candle, providing the best vapor and hit ever! I figured, the weakest part of an e-cig is most def its cartridge. Even with the PTB mod, I feel as if though there is much room for improvement. I don't advise anyone using powder to make their nic into gelatin nic, but it would sure be nice knowing if it could work??!

Someone try it out and report! I'd take one for the team, but I gotta perfect my idea. Just imagine that, I could make a mold for a perfect, formfitting nic "jello shot" and then sell it for millions!

Sorry for the tangent, but yea... just wanted to thank all those that have come up with the ideas that take e-cigs to where they are today. Without you all, I would probably be back on my analog habit.

I thought about trying this before I gave up on carts. I may give this a shot one day just to see, but I suspect the gelatin will melt slow at first, then all of a sudden flood the atty with whatever is in the cart. Alternatively the sides will melt then the rest of the gelatin nic juice will fall into the atty and then bake.

we need to find out what it is that holds the gelatinous form of an oldschool glade plugin, then find out if that is dangerous to vape or not ;)

I asked about this in the tip and tricks (?) about 2 months ago. Someone suggested using ......, but, I never got around to trying it. The problem I saw was that the jelling compound would not be vaped and would leave a hardened residue similar to a time release gel pill. Subsequent topping off or refills without cleaning this out would result in more and more build up of the semi hardened goo. After awhile it'd be like digging boogers out of your cart.

Gelatin, is made from the marrow of animals bones, jeez i dont think i would want that in my system, its kinda sad too when you think about it

you can use carrageenan which is made from seaweed, and there are other gelatin replacements, but I'd be afraid it'd turn my lungs gelatin-y
