General anodizing question

I have an aluminum mod I would like to have anodized. Is such a service generally locally available in a population center of 100,000+? Is it an expensive process? And finally, what kind of problems can I expect when threading the pieces back together afterwards? TY

threads will become too brittle if anodized, and if the mod is an all mechanical design utilizing the body to complete the circuit, keep in mind that anodized aluminum is non-conductive. other than that check your local paint and body shops (or online) for availability and pricing.
