Disappointed in both Aspire and Kanger tank systems. New aspire coils taste good, but no throat hit on 50 50 juice. New Kanger coils only last 4 days if even, before the burnt hits start! We put a man on the moon, but can't get this right? Not interested in building attys! I want an analog right now, and have been all vape for 6 years. Your thoughts please. Of course I won't go back, but a bit frustrated.

Which Aspire and Kanger tanks are you using?

Are you vaping intensely dark or excessively Sweet flavors?
Are you running the coils at to low or to high wattage?

How much e-liquid do you consume in those 4 days? Coils do not work on calendar days, but rather time in use/wattage used/e-liquid used

Aspire - have you considered a higher nic for coils production?

Sorry, but as a vaper who investigates and adjust for satisfaction......my gear works, so I can only speculate as to what may be going wrong for you.

I'm just doing 8 or nine wats 4.2 volts on the aspire and 4.0 volts for the kanger dual coil. I know what I'm doing with these devices. I'm also confused why some 50 50 vapes have so much more throat hit than orhers? It's the alcahol from how they derive the taste. Don't get me wrong; I think I love to Vape too much. Thanks to all.

Thanks subway, but that's just what I'm saying. The 50 50 pG to vg varies a lot! On the same coil the difference is crazy. Space jam Eclipse is so mild, on the same coil with the same 50 50 mix it's a sick difference. It's the alcahol left over from flavor extraction. Do I let that stop me? No!!!!
Let me ask this. Are you switching flavors without using a new Coil? You should change heads anytime you change flavors

Kanger Heads have always been hit or miss, but the Aspire Heads in contrast have been consistently good and the new ones have the enlarged juice slots that increase the juice flow for better flavor

You might try putting a couple of flavors in your daily rotation. That might lessen the Flavor burn out. Made a dramatic difference in my experience.

Still, your tanks? Kanger could mean a t2, a subtank or anything in between. Resistance also plays a big roll in your power choice.

Honestly, so far it sounds like some of your selected flavors may be coil killers - maybe.

To be serious, since I went from 18 to 12mg, I've been rebuilding on my old Kayfun and iGo-L.

These, IMO, are super easy ways to control your vape; cheap and easy. There are jigs to build coills on fast and quick.

As far as cartos go, I now feel I might reorder some more 18mg for the times I really need an easy hit.

Well the thread is appropriately titled , i expect differences between juices, coils , tanks etc... and if one lacks the TH of another i just try something else .

Rarely do i get perfection out of every juice or mod or coil etc... always ups and downs , i believe that's just called life and sometimes it sucks.

If you get two weeks out of a juice before you get sick of it thats amazing , i can go a few hours to a few days tops.

The problem with the Coil heads is they are wicked by people not machines.

Some they don't have enough cotton and the coil head leaks and spits

Many have way too much cotton. This causes wicking problems and dry hits.

The only way to get a consistent vape it to learn to build your own coils and wick them.

I started rebuilding the Kanger OCC heads, then I moved to drippers, then to RTAs, and never regretted learning to build.

I wrap a coil and it lasts me 10-13 weeks. About every 2-3 days I remove the cotton wick and install another with Rayon wick it lasts about 10 tines longer than cotton.
