General mod reveiw

Alright I'm trying to get my count up and thought a thread here would be perfect I figure everyone has a favorite and a least favorite mod I want to know why I have owned a ton most good some bad but I wanted to try them all so talk about your favorites least favorites and why it will shed light on some new vapors questions try to cover everything from Atties to mods no juice talk because it is all personal taste

and please even if you hate a mod don't bash the makers or other users

I have had a few mods now been vaping for two years and I have found I dislike bottom feeders and I like full mechanical mods and vv vw mods I'm not a huge fan of box mods because of their size but the opus changed my mind on that still loving my ggts and with a
Precise+ on the way ill have a new mod to try out normally I don't
Like bottom button mods

I never got the whole box mod thing either gripper reos ect guess its just preferance but for me I can think of anything I'd like to use or carry less

So i will list my favorites and least favorites these are the ones I've owned
1 ggts - love the button full mechanic many options
2 opus - vw slim built in battery looks good
3 provari v2 - great vv good size and great battery life
4 g bell rba - it worked better than any genesis atty I've tried and the small cap produced hot vapor
5 hh357 - great flavor and vapor last a long time but a little spitty

1 zen mini - didn't work as well as I hoped big and heavy and bottom button no real battery options
2 Apollo v tube - felt cheap didn't hold voltage no battery options
3 diamanté - I liked the airflow control it was very long and poor battery life
4 gg slim - looks great works good poor battery life
5 reo grand - didn't like the bottom feed system but like full mechanical options and size

Currently vaping a SS Z-max and it does the job for now. Oddly enough, my favorite mod has been a box mod I made about a year ago; Madvapes vv board and x2 18500's and it wont quit, I've dropped it, stepped on it, even left it on the roof of my car and heard it slide off and crash onto the road. I honestly dont think I can kill it (replaced batteries regularly though).

VV/VW and durability is a necessity for me because of the consistant voltage and I am amazingly rough on them. For obvious reasons Ive never been a big fan of the polished finish. Im currently planning a diecast aluminum stomp box with a lexan window for the upcoming dna release. I could eventually see a kicked P+ in my collection.

To me the Idea of the reo outweighs how well it works for me and after the v tube I stick to better quality mods

Definitely post anything you make I am constantly looking at mods here on vapeporn.com and all over the net and I have to have a tough mod too I also dislike the polished finish super t is going to satin up my gg when they slow down on their workload

I went of genesis atomisers too wanted one to be my main vape couldn't take it outside because it would leak couldn't risk dropping it so anytime I actually use it would have been at home loved the vapour and taste hated the limitation and playing round with a stove everytime I wanted a new wick would have taken me about a year to make the money back I paid for it with by having it stop me buying other cartos

Before purchasing my first genesis style atty, the Reo Grand with the Cisco LR 1.5 was my favorite all day vaping machine. Once the squonk is learned, it's a real pleasure to use, and the flavor sings because it's as close to Direct Dripping as I'd ever gotten without the mess.

But then I discovered the direct dripping flavor and no squonking needed of the genuine DID genesis and the rest is history. I still carry the Reo about, in my purse pocket, for "just in case", but I haven't touched it in months.

My favorite to date:
Roller telescopic mod by Atmizoo
Mini DID and DID20 by MMVapors (now have a Gemini too & I'm sure it will be in this top favorite list as well after I try it later today).
B.A.M. by theGreen with a Kick. It's huge, but it's VERY comfortable to handle.
Silver Bullet is still one of my faves for outdoor projects. It fits nicely in my back jean pocket.
LavaTube is still working for me, and soon I hope to purchase a Metallic Pink V2 one. It hits great, tests my battery life, and is lightweight and easy to use with it's user friendly menu.
eGo-Twist... I know I know, it's not a "mod", but it's such a handy gadget and deserves an honorary place. With a Mini DID on it, it's sleek, lightweight, and produces wonderfully.

Least Favorite:
Zenesis Standard. I really appreciate how Zen brought the genesis to the newbies like self. He went above and beyond to help us newbies get started with the genesis. Unfortunately, this is also where I learned how much I hate, no, despise, hybrids. If the atty is a bad atty day, (which all genesis builders go through even when they're pro's at building them), you can't take the atty off and use the mod with a different working atty. If the mod itself needs fixing, like say the BUTTON, then you have nothing but a stupid expensive paperweight sitting around until the button is fixed. Sometimes, that can take months or maybe even years. So, even though I appreciate the craftsmanship and beauty of a hybrid, I can't see myself ever buying another one ever. But, with that said, I am looking forward to eventually marrying one of my DID's to the new Poldiac that Jim the DID man has tailored made for us vapers. It can be married/locked to the DID, or it can stay free and flirty. Gotta love that!! (plus it's a real BEAUTY!!) After I get a few more mods and DID's under my roof, I just might lock a set one day. Maybe. It's nice to have the option.

Yeah I am trying a genesis for the last time then I am permanently giving it up I especially dislike the bottom button but all the nice gennies are bottom switch so I am trying the zag we will see how it goes and the squonk from the reo is what killed feeders for me I know that the hornet bf era bf and chalice are meant for bottom feeders and may work well but I can't see spending the money on all that just to try it out again and I do see a problem with how fragile hybrids are and not at all universal that's why I got the zag I figure if I hate it on my favorite mod then I'm never going to like gennies and if it doesn't work for me there is always my collector tank so I'm not out the whole mod and I will have to get ahold of a did I hear only good things but at the same time I hear only the positive on gennies so more tinkering to be done

SeventhStreet, I'm sure you'll like your ZAG, just hang in there and keep trying. Once the learning curves are mastered, there's nothing like a good genesis. Mastered means: wicking without fail, vaporizing huge clouds, pure direct drip flavor, .... once you've mastered a genny, you never go back. (except with tobacco flavors... tobacco flavors prefer the muted cartos it seems).
It's worth it. Good luck to you!!
The AC9 is a fantastic one too, and provides even more flavor for some reason that is beyond our comprehension.
Don't you wish we could rent one first before buying lol. Well, at least they're easily resold.

just got precise plus 18500 and zag in a week ago and still not liking the bottom button or the genesis atty i layed it down in my lap for a minute to change channels and got juice everwhere and the precise just does not feel right to me i got the zag working great though i am very happy with its performance this time just dont see a need for the mess

That's a shame with the precise, whats the deal breaker? I've been looking at them for a while but the switch layout has been a concern of mine, kind of an odd form IMO.

i dislike the lock and the moon shape that makes you hold it a certain way its also not flush with the kick in it all problems i have

Shame about not liking the P+, I understand it provides a strong and consistent hit of power.
I'm not a bottom button fan either, and can understand your hesitancy with such a layout. The P+ is one of the few mods out there that I would take the time to develop a tolerance for such a layout.

Yeh, you can't lay a Zag or Zen down for a second without it leaking. Many genesis are that way. The DID, on the otherhand, when properly set up, is one of the few that don't leak everywhere. One of the huge bonuses to owning one, in my book. The Z's are easiy to set up, and have wonderful vapor, but they do need to be stood up at all times.
