General standard resistance/low resistance atomizer question

Hello all!
Let me introduce myself, my name is Kaylan, I am from Jacksonville Beach, FL.
I am new to the vaping community. I bought a RiVa eGo which I absolutely love, and the starter kit came with a standard resistance and a low resistance atomizer. I have been using the standard resistance and tried the low resistance for the first time today (4 days after I initially got the kit) and WOW! What a huge difference! I am trying to quit smoking cigarettes and I think I won't need to smoke analogs if I use the low resistance more frequently. (I've been smoking 1-3 cigarettes each day so far since I got my kit, way better than 20)
So my question is: I really like the low resistance atomizer a lot more than the standard resistance however I heard the low resistance does something to the battery. I am curious as to what the pros and cons are for low resistance atomizers. I got the 650mAh batteries (they last me all day). Will I have to replace this atomizer more quickly? Will it drain my battery faster and/or will it shorten my battery life significantly? Is one more expensive than the other?
Also, do the different atomizers make the juice taste differently or use them up differently?

Your battery life will be a bit shorter, and it's possible the atty will die sooner. However, neither is a drastic change usually, and if it keeps you from smoking cigarettes, it's a good thing and the cost shouldn't be much of an issue if you're a pack-a-day smoker anyways.
