In general, is a 510 always a 510?

Say, if I have 510 batteries private labeled by one distributor as their brand of e-cig, should I be able to use any cartidges / chargers / PCCs for any other distributor's 510 with them?

For example, Cignot has a Joye-510 PCC for a much lower price than PCC offered by the distributor where I bought my initial kit. Should that be fine, or do the various distributors all modify their devices enough that, once you buy a starter kit, you are "stuck" with them unless you start over?

A 510 is always a 510. It refers to the type of threading on the battery. Cignot has a great reputation around here too!

Are the generic atty's just as good as the Joyetech one's. The reason i ask is because Tasty Vapor sells a 510 atty but they even state that they are not a Joyetech item.

Do the generic one's still give you the same trougt hit and vapor as the real one's do.

If they do than i will be buying some of those @ $4 a piece you can get 2 of the generic one's for the price of one real Joyetech one.

Actually, no, a 510 is not necessarily a 510. Particularly, the Joye and its clones have noticeable differences, resistance of the atties and voltage being the biggest.
That's a manufacturers matter, though. If you brought Joye, it doesn't matter where you buy more Joye parts from, same goes for clones.

And 510 stuff does work together, in a way. You can screw things together, and there is usually vape. Just not necessarily the right kind, or at least not the intended kind, depending on the combination of parts from different manufacturers.
