Hi all,

Been using it for a couple of days now and vaping sideways like my ZAP to get the wick to bring juice to the coil BUT it leaks a lot! My ZAP doesn't leak anywhere near this much and its getting annoying and wasting juice. The ZAP has a rubber seal where the wick is, anything like that out there for this RBA?

any suggestions to fix this or what I'm doing wrong? Pic below...

Yeah I am, there was a short one in the bag so figured I'd use that.

If I make my own wick should it basically fill that hole?

yep. fill that sucker up. use maybe 2 inches of mesh rolled tightly. i have that same atomizer but i cant remember how big my mesh was. it might have even been the stock mesh that came with it that was the right size.

I just soak the cut sheet in VG and light it. Repeat with different grip position. Then roll up, soak in VG and light again. You don't need a torch for this method. Might not be the best, but it works for me. It's not heavy oxidation, nor the lightest. I mainly do it to burn off machine oil and finger grease.

Edit: Use PG or your least favorite liquid if you don't have VG.

Mine is currently filled with a 25mm wide wick with a small hole/tunnel in da middle. Helps wicking at high wattages. If u want a real solid wick use a 30mm wide wick.

IMHO you shouldn't leave a gap between the wick and the wickhole. It encourages steeping (darkening or discoloration of eliquid). I usually just leave my fill hole open for airflow.

Vaping it now at 0.4ohms dual coil and 4.0 volts. Insane vapor, flavor and throat hit. Tilting is a must tho to avoid dry hits.
