Genesis Style RBA - AC9 Cobra Fogatti

Anyone got their hands on these few genesis style RBAs? Any comments on the build quality & ease of setting these smoke machines up? I'm getting the hang of building coils on the Hornet using SS mesh. Now my hands very itchy already coz I just made a plunge on one of them. & Damn they were sold out in just 10 mins. \m/ \m/ Luckily checked out fast.

The new hybrid genesis would be a rojak named ACF... Hahaha... Was thinking of getting the Cobra, but the AC9 seems more enticing.. It took just 10 mins for the AC9 to be sold out.. Next batch of AC9s would be available by mid Feb.. Hopefully that stays true..

I have a cobra and foggati , i like them both each has its own special quality for me, i wouldnt recomend ac9 coz the tank is plastic and prone to cracking

I didn't like the ac9 when i know is pmma.

I will only look at Glass or Pyrex.

I understand where you guys are going to. I myself am using Phiniac Glass Tanks daily. Glass/Pyrex are considered the standard if u have juices that may crack plastic. I've always wanted a Cobra. The titanium built body & cap, the endless wick setup possibilities, 2 top cap orings making it more secure as well as the Pyrex glass as a standard set. I even could custom order the tank with a Phiniac glass. But then I saw the AC9 video. One thing that made me more interested in having it is its tank design. A flushed tank without any orings at the top or bottom; no leaks unless u purposely tilt it. No metal post running in the middle, just juice enclosed in the tank. A clean setup I may say but I am a bit upset it only has 1 oring for the top cap. 2 would be better. About the pmma tank, I will just have to give it a shot. It's not like we are vaping something like Murdocks Radiotor Pluid. I just hope it can withstand most liquids. The rest of the features are similar throughout any other genesis RBA. Keeping my fingers crossed hope the AC9 will exceed my expectation. If not, there is always a Cobra. Die, another whole in pocket soon. Hahahah...

You have to consider a few things before buying:

1) Size of tank - bigger doesn't always mean better in terms of wicking

2) Size of top cap chamber - Is it compact and thick for density of flavour and vapour?

3) Working area - Is it big enough for you or are you comfortable with small working spaces?

4) Rebuilding options - Single, dual, u-wick options

5) Airhole and wickhole diam - Are you ok with an open draw style or do you prefer a stiffer draw?

After considering all these options, then you can narrow down easily to e one tt you'd want to buy first. Emphasis on first because you'd want to buy all, eventually..

Try getting your hands first on an AGA - T, and see if you like the process of rebuilding it. SOme people doesnt like genesis style attys coz of the process involved in making it work properly.

Actually I'm into rebuilding on RBAs.. I'm just asking for feedbacks on those whom have these RBAs in their current arsenals.. I'm currently doing SS mesh on a Hornet RBA... The area to work in is damn small so having any of these RBA would be a walk in the park.. Fogatti or the ZAP is hardly in stock n the waiting time between each batch is getting wider n wider... N some RBAs like the Hellfire has a Damn long list.. The steammachine, Penelope, the real did has stock but I'm not looking into them.. I've narrowed down to these 3 RBAs as I know I will be buying these one after the other. Any feedbacks or reviews by the experienced gurus old or new guys on the block is deeply appreciated..

Personally, I think the spheroid is way better performing then the Pineapple. Oops, I mean Penelope.
Likely it's just me but the Penelope always gave me floods when I was using it. And the twisting of wires is just so troublesome.

Tell me about it... But the twisting is a sort of "practise makes perfect" Took me quite a few centimeters of kanthal and a few dollars of silver (pure silver leh don't pray pray ah!)

Always make sure its screwed tight when refilling and screwed tight when in transit. I quite like it for its size. Now its become one of my more convenient rebuildable attys.
