So started like I assume everyone else with ego type went to cleros, then carto tanks then discovered genesis in the form of AGA-T then went to ULR on a mech mod. Vape now around the higher 15 - 20 watts (wanting to avoid watt debate). Have an all day vape that I have used for the last couple weeks, the longest I have ever used a single all day vape. Decided to use one of my old carto tanks on my regulated mod and all the flavors I remember from a carto tank are gone. I tried kicking up the wattage as much as I can, and I am just getting more of a burnt taste than flavor. I only have 1 AGA-T atm and have 2 Cobra clones on the way. The only solution I can see is to put up my carto tanks and just buy more AGA-Ts cause anything else is like vaping unflavored juice.

Since I got my first genesis all my other gear has been put away. I tried a Terminator-C but it just wasn't what I had hoped. My forth geny is on it's way from Greece right now, I have a DiD clone, a ZAP, and an AC9, with a real DiD on the way. I still want a Cobra. Then I think I will start trying out some of the other Chinese genies like the AGA, RSST, and Cobra clone.

I started pretty much the same as you, but I passed on carto tanks. I didn't like the carto taste. Eventually, I got tired of having to replace coil assemblies, so I bought a Chid. Man. I was hooked after that! I've never had a coil pop once they're set up properly.

I immediately joined a co-op & bought 3 more (one for each of my mods). Then I bought 3 Chobras in a co-op. Then later 2 AGAs, then 2 AGA-Ts, then 2 AGA-T2s (all from co-ops). 8-o Loved the -T2s so much, I immediately joined ANOTHER co-op to get 2 more AGA-T2s. I ended up trading one AGA for another Chobra.

Before they even got to me I bought a real Cobra off the classies. Just as I was expecting delivery of my last -T2s, I bought a real DID (D20) off the classies.

So lets see... 4 Chids, 4 Chobras, 1 AGA, 2 AGA-Ts, 4 AGA-T2s, 1 Cobra & a DID on the way. Now I officially have more gennys than mods (17-9), each with a different juice. But... I have pulled 1 Chid & the AGA out of rotation. LoL

I now have 2 dids (one is on the way) a zap and a couple did clones. I thought I would be able to keep taking my carto tank to work since it's purse friendly. But I can't do it! I take a did when out and about...with the screw on top cap I don't have to worry about it coming off.

I was looking at the cobra but opted for another did. I have enough rbas and am relieved to not feel that all consuming need to buy another

I too started out on the clearos. Really wasn't happy with those. Then I found the novas. A little better but not by much. I knew there had to be more to this world. To many people with too much success. I got to doing an ton of research and was blown away by all the videos I had watched. Loved the way the RBA's looked and the vapor they produced. I decided to take the chance and by an AGA-T. I got it and was almost ready to toss it after many failed attempts at coils and wicks. I finally came up with my own method of wire and wick and it works for me. I can get a consistent 1.2ohm and am happy with that at the moment. I was totally blown away after the first hit. I have in less than a week bought SEVERAL more RBA's. I will never look back to the world I started vaping in. This is SO MUCH BETTER. This side of it even has me wanting to sell my computer to allow me to get a couple of the higher end genesis attys.

Don't do that! The lower cost genies can work just as good as the high dollar ones. I have two of the "nice" genies and one cheap DID clone and the cheap clone vapes just as good as the ZAP and AC9. The main difference is appearance. The high dollar ones make my mods look like hybrids, but they don't vape any better.

Spoken by the guy who just bought another highend rba LOL I too went wild with highends. It's totally amazed me that I've done this. When I used carto tanks I had no desire to purchase the "highend" ones. I looked at the phiniac tanks but was never tempted to actually spend that much when my inexpensive co-op dctanks (less than $4 apiece) did a nice job. I didn't care about collecting and I was actually proud to show them off and declare "Hey! Here's my XX with a dctank and it looks awesome!"

I'm embarrassed on how much I've spent on my 3 highends. But even after having said that, I don't regret buying them.

Oh my, is all of the above a picture of things to come?

Thus, far I have stopped using my clearos, with the exception of using a Kanger protank on my ego c twist. I have 2 IBTanked tanks for my provari and an AGA T2 arriving on Friday. I guess I had better made some more room on my desk, at some point.

Well glad to see that I am not going crazy then. Guess its time to get some more AGA-Ts. If I were to drop full price for a single non clone RBA what should it be? I hear AC9 and ZAU/ZAP are neck n neck.

I have both and I can't pick a favorite. I like the ZAP for it's glass tank, and the fact that you can take it apart for cleaning without disturbing your wick and coil. The AC9 is nice because you can use the center pin to adjust the orientation of the wick to your PV button, and the top cap is a bit more secure. I keep hearing really good things about the Cobra

While I enjoy my zap, remember it's custom made for the Provari. I think that it does fit on some other devices, don't know which.
My favorite is the DID by mmvapors.. I like the security of the screw on cap. It would be really nice if it had the ability to be oriented to the PV button. I had an ac9 and didn't realize it could do that.

My DID is supposed to be here tomorrow so I will be able to give my opinion of it by this weekend. I also ordered one of the ibtanked pyrex tanks for it, but I haven't got a shipping notice for it yet.

Mine's coming with a couple of Kir Fanis tanks, but IIRC they're some sort of plastic. Would you post pics of your IBTanked tank?

I started w/a cig-a-like but they didn't last long, then on to ego/clearos, vivis, then VV w/cartotanks, etc...and then recently I scratched out my first good RBA set-up. End of the progression for me! I have 3 RBAs at present, and there's just no going back. At least not at home. I still have to use cartotanks, vivis etc on a spinner at work, but I have a Killer atty on the way & hopefully soon I'll have a pocket device that equals RBA performance. My fav RBA by far is my ZAP. IMO it's nothing short of a luxurious experience on my ProV. I've found my vaping happy place.
