Geographical dead zone for Kanthal

Ok this is getting really odd.

About 2 weeks ago I placed an order for some Kanthal from a dealer in Florida. After 5 days the package was sent back to the dealer in Florida without ever leaving Florida. Something about the address in Atlanta GA not being correct. It was I get packages delivered to that same address all the time.

So I placed another order with Temco and got a refund from the Florida dealer.

Temco sent the order out on the 28th of May and the post office has it in their system from the 28th. On the 29th of May they list it as leaving Oakland CA and that IS IT. No other updates and no package delivered to me.

Funny part is I ordered a hcigar kayfun Lite + from Royal Vapes also in California on the 29th of May at 5:46 in the morning and that was in my mailbox on Saturday the 31st. Order some juice from Mt Baker on the 29th, they are in Washington, and got that delivered today.

But still no Kanthal.

Seems the addresses I'm using, one is my work address and the other is my home address (Both very valid addresses and have been for many years), for a Kanthal order are geographical oddities. You can't get there from either Florida or California with Kanthal in the package.

seems to me some troubleshooting may be necessary. some investigating, if you will.

what you need to do is book flights, a week apart. one to california and one to florida. make sure you have rental cars waiting.

when you get to each destination, purchase a spool of kanthal, then drive directly home. if you make it, it's not the kanthal causing the disturbance in the force. if you don't make it, you've taken the first steps in confirming your suspicions.

Ah ha, and so many silly fools thought an aluminum foil hat was da answer!

BTW, most of our snow birds have already headed back up north, so mail outta FLA may be a bit slower...
