I have been vaping for 3 weeks. I have only used the EVOD which is working well for me. Had a leaking problem once but discovered there was something wrong with one of the tanks so I got rid of that one and am pretty happy.

I want to get a few more tanks so I can have different flavors and maybe a stronger nic level for very stressful times.

Just wondering if I should order more EVODs in different colors or if there is anything else I should try. Please nothing complicated. I am a 60+ grandmother and just need easy.

Thanks for any input.

Hi Linda,

If you like EVODs... and they work for you, that's great. They have one of the best bottom coil (BCC) head designs there is. The most important thing I can tell you is, they are being counterfeit by the hundreds of thousands... and may be why you had a leaker.

To insure consistent reliability and a good vape... make sure you get only genuine Kanger (also referred to as Kangertech) products. The copies range from good, to incredibly poor.

If you want to try something different, I'd suggest a Innokin iClear 16 or 30 (or 30S). Again, another brilliant (top coil or TCC) design that is being massively counterfeit... genuine Innokin iClear only.

Hope that makes it easy for you. Cheers. :)

EVODs were my favorite as well....until this weekend and now I have a Kanger Protank II and I LOVE it - the flavor to me seems so much more pronounced now. It is a bottom coil as well. I didn't like the iClear 16 or 30 because I didn't like having to tilt it up to keep the top wick wet - and I also ended up getting juice in my mouth every once in a while with those. But, that's my personal opinion.

If the eVods are working for you I'd stick with them! Another option which would translate well over from the eVod is the Mini Protank 2, it's pretty similar to the evod but is fully disassemble-able so you can clean it out and has a glass tank rather than plastic. The advantage of glass over plastic is that plastic/polycarbonate tanks can be damaged (cracking/clouding/deterioration) by harsher e-liquids such as citrus or cinnamon whereas glass tanks are not affected.

I heard good things about the iSmoka, but I got two EVODs like them i had some flooding issues I think i fixed it just by adding a extra flavor wick to the coil..we will see how things go so far so good...

I got the genuine Kanger ones for 6.99 good deal on replacement coils compared to what I have seen on some other sites too and now GEJ is making there version for 2$ cheaper

The Pro Tank I believe does have a metal mouth piece, but u can change it to a different tip of ur liking I know u can change it out to a different tip from the review i saw on it before I bought my EVODs but im not sure if metal it did look like it.

Im happy with my EVODs! A PBusardo Review All About The EVOD - Includes Recoiling - YouTube watch Pbusardo review of them and how he removes the top wick out I did just the opposite and added a top flavor wick so im using 3 top wicks, and that stopped my flooding (gurgling, and little leaking) but im using thinner juice at 70/30 maybe that help with the leaking issue i read about in ur original post

Happy Vaping

I just got an evod recently and like it a lot as well. Today I received my ismoka bcc mega and I really like it as well. It holds more at 3.5ml so will last me a full day. I really like them both a lot.

I was using 1.8 ohm coil in the EVOD but Kanger recommended to run a 2.1-2.3ohm with 3.4-3.7v since I was using a EVOD batt at 3.7 I switched to the 2.2ohm coils. My 1.8ohm ones I took out was extremely burnt looking for only 5 days old! I actually added a wick to my EVODS using a 70/30 mix was causing a little flooding..

I moved off to a few off brand BCC's.. and loving them.. The RC200 (ego threading), holds a tad bit more than 2ml and fits even onto devices I couldn't safely get the Evods on. They don't have that flared tip like the evods (and other kanger items) have and I like that better.
I'm also enjoying the GS-H5, a 3ml device with a 510 connection.

Both have 1 piece bases that take the evod coils. Only drawback I see with them is that they are polycarb, and not metal coated, but have taken a beating already from me and the wife.

Just an option for you to look at.
