get burning taste after cleaning my liquimax

I have a V2 liqumax and I have been use it for about 2 weeks. I tried to clean it, and it seems like I clean it really well.
BUT.. when I try to vape it, I always get a burning taste. It seems like it doesn't wick really well after cleaning. Anyone knows why?

Because the V2 liquimax is a very poor quality clearomizer, i had some once and they were always burning. I suggest getting a different brand clearomizer for your kr808 batteries

These work great with the v2 or kr808 batteries and are cheaper

It may be that it isn't fully and completely cleaned and the gunk in the atomizer has been broken down enough to actually vape it.

You could also be tasting something you used to clean it with.

How did you clean it? Did it involve a dry burn? Was there solvents used?

I just use clean water to clean it, and I did dry burn it. But the burning taste just doesn't like to go....

The only way i found to get the taste out of the liquimax i used was boiling them for 20 minutes. This however would not last long

On another note if you try to dry burn these, you just melt the wick, and then even boiling will not remove the flavor of burn

Wow, they have wicks that can melt? I don't know what they use for wicking material, but that's really not good.

When I dry burn my atomizers I always make sure to rinse them out real good afterwards.
Vaping that burnt off crud that has now turned to ash is not very tasty.

Good golly! I've tried a lot of crap. Thank god I've never tried something with melt-able wicks!

ok. I just found that it is not the problem with washing. I opened some new one, and it still, I can get the burning taste. I let it set for an hour, sometimes overnight, but still......
I guess that's why they call it bata.....

I posted this earlier on another Liquimax thread so I will just copy it here.......

I have been using the same 3 Liquimax clearos for a month now. They have been cleaned and refilled with several different juices many times with no reduction of flavor or vapor. And no burning taste. This is how I clean mine....

-Pour in some vodka and shake for about a minute then pour out
-Pour in some distilled water and shake to rinse then pour out
-Pour in vodka again. This time go just below the top of the air hole
-Put on one of the rubber carto condoms on the fill end. Flip it over. Make sure that the wicks are covered completely with the vodka
-Let it sit for an hour or so
-Empty out and rinse again with distilled water
-Shake out the excess water and let them dry for a day
-Reuse

The reason I let it soak upside down is so the wicks get a chance to completely soak and so the alcohol does not have any effect on the seal at the battery connection. I also use distilled water because I have read that tap water can have an adverse effect on the coils because after it dries it can leave mineral deposits on the coils and wicks that may cause the coils to burn out prematurely.
