I have had quite a few rba's since the first Genesis mods started coming out; including silica wick iATTY's and silica dripping rba's, and for a year, given my setup methods, I was under the impression that they were either too inconsistent, or in the end the flavor was not as good as an HH357.
So I sold a load of Geni's, and GG atomizers.

Lately I have a couple of newer silica wick rba's (Spheroid and Fatty V2). Lucky I tried again, and finally realized it was ME, not the RBA's.

I take it all back... get your coil firing right (all wraps light up evenly), and yes they are at least as good if not better than any Hybrid atomizers.
With coils firing evenly, the flavor and vapor are out of this world as we know it. :)

Just saying.

it's toward the end of the vid....
Great job Lbox... incredible for first coil/wick setup..
I heard the draw on the ZAP is airy (to the max) but a great RBA... I opted for Spheroid instead (for my mega$$$ rba) and am happy with it.
Still don't have a Genesis now, but have the mesh ready in case one pops in to my grabby hands.

The Fatty and Spheroid may be convertable to mesh, but haven't tried it yet.

Holy cow Lbox - great looking coil and its your first - Kudos to you buddy

:D TY

This was the video i used, watched it a couple of times and went from there. I believe he was very thorough in his explanation/build, I just added on more wrap than he did so I ended up with a 1.9 ohm coil

EDIT: and if you guys want to try a cheap genny, look at discount vapors, I got mine for $25 with the mesh and kanthol and a gift box.

Well my friend Uke - if I may suggest a genisis to you - it would be the Standard or Short DID with all brass insides over the Zattys. The DID has better flavor and vapor and yes - only a 1.2 mm airhole vs 1.5 and that little bit makes a big difference. With no mesh below 400 even if you use all VG like I do. I have always said that and now there is a thread on 500 mesh stating same.

Im just starting to get into gennys. I hap the zap but put it on the classies because of the airy draw. Now i have this dud, and this is a coil i wrapped. 1.7ohms. This is a much better draw than the zap. Once i get better at wrapping coils than im off to by a real did.. Btw, this is a pyrex tank from ibtanked. Fits nice and snug

Your wrap is all glowing, so thats great IC - take that fill hole screw out an will taste and vape better - tank needs air.

I finally took the plunge and ordered a phoenix style rba! Let's see how this goes before I step up to the genny style! I am really excited! I love my 306 atty, so I think I am gonna love these things.... I am just hoping that I don't get a lot of leaking when I drip! It comes with a coil, so I will be able to try that out before I have to make my own.... I have mostly been using carto tanks. I really like them, especially the triple v's and the boge f16's! They are so convenient and easy to use. They hold about 5 mils, so they seem to last forever as I use several different ones throughout the day.... The 306 was usually just used to try new juices...

Time to stalk the mailman!!!!! :)
