So yes, Ive been vaping for about 2 months. I used to smoke about a pack to a pack and a half a day, even when I was as broke as a joke, I would round up my coins to go buy some cigs. Now that I have found something that has taken me away from Mr Marlboro and giving my change to Uncle Sam, our corporation of a government decides to ban it?

Ecigs has not only helped me, but also people in the household. They don't have to smell that nasty tobacco (even when I smoke outdoors, I never realized it gets into the house til I started vaping and my friends are outside smoking their cigarettes). The big part is the second hand smoke they receive!

Theyre bending over back wards trying to deceive the general public about the chemicals in our ejuice, when its mainly 4 ingredient? They claim to regulate traditional cigarettes when it has over 4,000 chemicals (from gun powder to rat poison). The media has been producing some biased reports on how "dangerous" ecigs are. I have even gone to one of those quit smoking sites to ask them about ecigs and they produce the same verbiage as what is written on the FDA site, on live chat! Wow! We can surely tell who are in cahoots with each other.

Petitioning and stuff of that nature helps, but how much does it really help? I wanted to see, what anyone would think of this plan. If they do decide to ban ecigs, how about everyone in different areas, gather at a central location and light one up? We can be at the mall, a restaurant, Wal Mart, market or wherevers. This would surely capture the peoples attention and they would want to know what's going on. The media would then need to report on it and maybe then, our vaping nation can get our voices heard?

Just an idea. :)

Kind of like those people who have surprise dances and act out scenes and sing in malls? If done peacefully and with good direction it could be cool. Make sure you get it on youtube.

Yes kind of like a flash mob. Im not sure how many people are willing to smoke indoors and risk getting a ticket for it though. Lol. I personally wouldn't mind if it's for a good cause. How else can we get our voices heard instead of biased reporting?

One personal endorsement outweighs most of what they see in the media--particularly if you're backed with the facts on the issue and can refer people to them if they ask.

I find talking about it to friends and family has increased awareness in that sphere amazingly well (and converted a ton of people as well!)

One friend went from "Isn't that antifreeze?" to "You can vape in my house if you want."

Thats why, we can't even be heard. The biased information is backed by someone the public deems reliable. If only there was a way to set something viral, something that can actually be seen/heard, then maybe the public might have second thoughts about vaping. Look at the petition that we are trying to collect signatures for, with the amount of people in this community, it should have been completed the second or third day. It's only moving so slow because of the amount of the resources we have versus the amount of resources the media/FDA/Big Tobacco/Big Pharmacy/government has.
