Get verified on ECF

I've read the 3 methods. I'm asking if anyone knew if theres another way to get verified on PayPal without linking to my bank account not ECF verification. Maybe there might be different ways some people knew about that I didn't.
I thought (now this was way back in the day) that they would mail you a verification code via snail mail, or do it via your CC
I believe it is because as a mfr I am not allowed on the classies.

Me and a few friends of mine are having trouble with people using our names as vouchers for verification without permission.
Please, always ask permission to use someone's name, and only vouch for people you know personally or have bought/sold with.
Otherwise being verified doesn't really help anyone.

Wow, that's terrible. Why someone would just assume someone would vouch for them is probably the reason why they didn't ask in the first place.... shameful 
ughhhh .... not so painless for me since I have two different Paypal accounts ( American and Canadian, both verified) ...
My email address on file with ECF is the address attached to my American Paypal account, which I cannot add as a multiple email to my Canadian account because it is already in use under another account
I guess I will have to get one of my verified Canadian buds to vouch for me ....

As a super member, you don't even need to be verified. I for one feel no extra security on the classifieds dealing with verified people. I trust user feedback far more then a verified status.
Theres a lot of "Hey I don't know you very well, but sure I'll vouch" going on lol

I'm pretty sure you can just change your ECF email address to the Canadian PayPal one.

Essentially it means that ECF is able to release your information to law enforcement if you rob someone during a deal on the classifieds.
Although as Chinner has mentioned, it's not really ideal since people can get verified just by someone saying they vouch for them...
If everyone was forced to do it through PayPal it would make a lot more sense.
edit: the benefit is that people who get Verified do not need to meet the post count level (I believe 100 posts) before posting in the classifieds, and adds some extra security to doing a meet up from the classifieds
I went ahead and did it anyways. Apparently I have to many email addresses to keep straight though
