After the big debate on how to handle fraud and how to protect members, the powers that be have now opened up the verification process. I'm sure that since this is new, there may be a glitch or two...but for the most part should run smoothly.

You can find the links to the various applications towards the bottom of the first post. I no longer have access to these, so I can't post them here.

It would be helpful to j0ker if you checked your paypal account first to make sure it is verified before you submit your application.

How do you know when you become verified?

Looks like they will send you an e-mail (from the Verifi page).

If you use the paypal way...you will receive an email from them that I'm sure you will have to click a link to confirm. Then I guess your Verified Member tag should show up above your avatar. I submitted my application, but it says it can take up to 24 hours to happen. But I will confirm once its been done.

You should have no problem getting 3 verified super (or better) members to vouch for you...once they're verified of course.

Mine too but you can add another email address to your paypal account. Log on to paypal, under "profile" there is an add or edit email box.

You can have multiple email addresses attached to your Paypal account. Just go to Paypal and add the email addy you used to register for ECF.
