While you are waiting, you can make your own drip tip of sorts. Just take the polyfill out of one of your carts. Or use a cart that came on the atty- same thing. If your atomizer is dry, just place a few drops right onto your atty and pop your empty cart back on. It will vape similar to a drip tip, you'll just have to pop it off you atty to refill instead. The cart serves as the mouthpiece basically. You don't want any juice in it.

When to refill?
This takes some experience. Don't over drip your atty. Wait until you can taste/feel it is getting dry. If too dry, it will taste awful and give you a scorching throat hit! The point is, add a few drops right before that nasty hit would take place. Most say use three drops per fill. If really dry, use 4. If your not sure it is dry yet, use 2 drops, etc... You'll get the hang of it sooner than you think. Another nice thing about dripping with an empty cart is that you're less likely to suck juice into your mouth. Yummy! Using an empty cart is a great way to learn dripping.

So the only liquid you are putting in, is directly on the atomizer? How many hits do you get off 3 drops on the atomizer? I will definately try it. I gotta get some decent flavor out of this thing. I guess the plastic taste I'm getting is probably the burnt taste you talk about.

Exactly. Just drip directly on the atomizer. You are doing what the cart is failing to do. Keeping the atomizer moist. I can't tell you how many hits you will get. That varies upon voltage (device being used) and your atomizer. Atomizers have different ohms. The lower the ohms, the lower the resistance= more heat. I won't get into all the math right now. What type of battery and atomizer are you using?

To better answer you question. You will need to re-drip every 5-10 puffs. Maybe more often with high voltage devices or Low Resistance atomizers. You can't accurately measure how often to drip in terms of hits. When you experience less vapor, burnt flavor, or increased heat, it is time to refill. You will acquire a taste for it an know when it is time to fill.

If you can not stand dripping so often, look into a cartomizer. However, I still think dripping with a standard atomizer is the best vape. That is subject for debate by others I'm sure.

On the battery and atomizer, I'm not sure. All I know is I have a Riva 901.

Ok, I tried 4 drops on the atomizer, much, much better, actually has a flavor now. I will keep doing this until I get the drip tips to try. I hope you can get some more hits with the drip tips. Thanks for the help.

I doubt the tips will change the amount of fluid used or hits obtained. However, I think you'll like the draw and added warmth better :)
