Hi guys, new to ECF.. awesome forum...

I am planning to get myself a PV.. I think i have read thru possibly only 1% of the posts over the past few days.. there's simply so much advice and tips you can get here!

Thus, i am thinking of getting an eGo-Twist(i think this is just the batt) and some clearomizer tanks. I'm still trying to figure out the differences between, cartomizer, atty and clearomizers..

Looking for some advice on this from the experts here..

You cant't go wrong with the Twist and a Mini Vivi Nova! Easy setup and you don't have to worry about cartos, atties and clearomizers! It even comes with it's own driptip and spare heads. You can also get spare colored tanks or steel tanks if uou want a different look.Go look at Health Cabin.net. By the way, don't forget to get an eGo steel sleeve (little cover to hide the eGo threads).

I would suggest a 650 mAh Twist. The bigger ones are TOO long!

A clearo is a top feed wick system. The cartos you have either a tube with a material in it to absorb the juice. There is also a tank that uses something like a carto wtih a hole in the bottom or holes to allow juice in the tank to drip into the carto. I prefer the clearo but a lot of people use cartos. I have both types a tank and a regular carto. If you get a clearo I recommend a rebuildable like this.
CE5 eGo Clearomizer with Changeable, Replaceable Heads, Coils, and Wicks

It is rebuildable. Any that are 4 and below when the atty dies you have to toss the whole thing. The twist 1000 mah is a very good battery. The 650 is smaller but doesn't last as long. You may also want to look at the vivi nova my favorite there are two versions the full size 2.5 and the mini. All are good the clearo 5 is a little harder to clean but it works well.
Here is the vivi nova.
GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml V2.5 REBUILDABLE TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5] - $12.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
I am not partial to cartomerizers as they are very hard to clean in my experience. But a lot of people us them for testing flavors and for full time use. I vape a lot. So I need a bigger reservoir. I still have a regular tank but I don't use it as much.
A whole lot of this is subjective. It's what works for you. When you find it unless something changes stick with it.
Hope this helps. Others will come on with equally good suggestions or better LOL.

Welcome to ECF. You have a bunch of vendors in your area. Lots of resources all over the world.
One word of warning if you order overseas sometimes the stuff gets lost in customs. LOL I had one from Germany that got rerouted or something and never made it.

Thanks dragonbone! Actually whats the diff between the 650mAH and 1000mAH? i guess logicial that 1000 will last longer, but any other diff apart from that in terms of performance?

Also, should i get a the Twist and Mini Vivi Nova separately?

The 1000 will last longer on a charge. The mah stands for mili amp hours. A 650 will run continuously at 650 mili amps for 1 hour. The 1000 will run for one hour at 1000 mil amps or 1 amp for 1 hour.

Maybe this will help to understand amps, volts and ohms. Think of water. In water you have pressure. In electricity that would be volts. In water you have water flow that is how much water is flowing like gallons per hour. That is amps. Ohms would be like the size of the water pipe or hose the smaller the hose the greater the resistance. I won't do the electrical pie chart thing I get razzed when I do that. LOL
But this will maybe help you to relate. That is how I got to understand it a long time ago as a Tech.

@Steved5600 Thank you so much for your explanation! I somehow seem to be comfortable with the vivi nova 2.5.. haven't gotten a chance to see the vivi mini yet... I am having difficulty finding local vendors tho.. haha...

No difference in performance, just the battery lasts longer before needing to charge. But the 1000 mAh is very long. Maybe it's fine for you, but personally, I think it is very long... Anyway, I think you need 2 or 3 batteries in total. They needn't all be Twists. Just another eGo is fine. I love my other eGo's just as much as my eGo Twist. It is very important to have a backup and something to use while the other is charging.

Yes you can buy it all separately. If you are buying from Health Cabin and need more links or help, let me know.

PS. Don't forget your charger!

oh yes... do i get the parts separately? I was looking at the eGo-T system, is that an eGo-Twist with the tank? i'm confused...

An eGo-T: is an eGo battery with the atty/tank (cartridge) system. It may be possible to find a kit with a Twist, but then it would have the newer eGo-C atty and tank. Almost the same just newer and with replaceable atty heads. Not sure eh we're to get a kit though. You could buy it in separate pieces, although I think that the Vivi Nova Mini is better than the T or C.

Are you looking for a kit, or don't you mind buying separately? Where will you buy from?

As others have said, I think the Twist is a great unit. Definitely get the 1000mah battery and a Vivi Nova tank. Don't forget an eGo compatible passthrough for when you are at home at your computer and your batteries are charging. I would also get a pack of the Phoenix Bottom Coil Clearomizers, make sure they are 510. In my experience they give the best flavor and are easy to clean, I use them to test out new juices. Additionally, try as many flavors of juice as you can, and don't be afraid to mix and match and remember that when you quit smoking you will start regaining your sense of taste and smell, so many of the juices will get better with time.

I managed to get it finally... I'm still thinking whether to get the kit or get it separately.. i might just get it separately... looking for a decent shop which can ship to where i'm from.. and quick..

Did you check Health Cabin? They have several shipping options including DHL.

Ummmmmmmmmmm...the Vivi Nova 2.5 is the mini and comes with no extra heads (from gotvapes.com). The Vivi Nova 3.5 is the larger tank and comes with 3 heads. The Twist 650mAh battery will last at least 6 hours (maybe more). The Twist 1000 mAh will last at least 10 hours. (For every 100 mAh you will get at least 1 hours worth of normal vaping). Neither of the Vivi Novas uses an internal cartomizer as the juice is fed directly to the coil via wicks.

Really? My Mini Vivi Nova came with 2 spare heads. Total in set - 3 heads. $8.50 from Health Cabin.

The passthrough is it where you can vape while charging?
