Getting a REO, wondering which RBA?

So I'm ordering a REO Grand next Thursday. Also planning on getting a bottom feeding atty from Reosmods, but not positive which one I should get. Right now I'm planning on getting the RM2, and drilling the air hole out to 1/16th. I prefer a cooler vape and don't need a dual coil setup. I think the RM2 is gonna end up being the one, but I figured I'd ask ECF what they thought as well. I know the RM2 has a great reputation and I feel like 90% of the REOs I see on here are topped with them. Just wondering if there are any others you guys and gals recommend? I'm not a cloud chaser but would obviously appreciate good vapor production, but flavor is more important.

Also, I would like to note that I'm unexplainably giddy about getting my REO and squonking the crap out of it. And I'm getting an orange one if anyone cares.

I almost forgot, I figure while I'm ordering, I should probably grab some spare parts or the care kit or something? I know these mods are built solid, but I'm not ultra familiar with them, so maybe someone might recommend grabbing an extra spring or something?

extra spring, the spring acts like a fuse, so if you short a coil it will collapse and protect your battery. Once collapsed it's done replace it.

a few extra 1x10 and 1.5x10mm o rings, used to line up the rba and seal it in the drip well. You get one of the 1x10 with the RBA. I prefer the 1.5x10 mm rings myself

You get a bottle in the REO and a spare, some people get more. If you like the more toxic juices you might want a spare tube.

The RM2 is very hard to beat for flavor and ease of build. If you get one get the extra screws as they are easy to lose.

I'm sure you'll love it.

Thanks! I screenshotted that post for reference when I place my order. I figured it'd be a good idea to stock up on some spare parts. And I'm assuming you're talking about using the 1.5x10 ring as a spacer for the RBA cap to avoid over tightening/loosening it when lining up the air hole with the coil? I was gonna ask about that because the RM2 build thread I was reading earlier mentioned that sometimes the stock spare ring doesn't quite do the job.

The o-rings go under the atomizer in the catch cup so that your atomizer is facing the desired direction and prevent any possible seepage.

Pics will be happening for sure! How long is Reosmods shipping typically? I wish I had money to order asap, but gotta wait til payday...

They ship pretty fast. Usually 3-4 days to your door depending on when you order.

Rob ships Mon, Wed, Fri so if you order late on Friday then it probably won't ship out till Monday.

Also they are shipped signature required so try to have someone home to sign for it.


ETA- To answer you original question, I vote for the Rm2. It's just an awesome little atty.

I'm at work when the mailman comes unfortunately...I will have to get someone to mailbox sit for the two days it should be arriving hahaha. If you're not there you can just go to the post office/ups store/whatever and pick it up though right?

Sure, you can pick it up the next day but it's much more fun to call in sick and carry out a round the clock mail carrier stalk mission

The RM2, IMO, is the standard when it comes to flavor and when drilled out appropriately for the build is no slouch in the vapor production as well.

EDIT: That giddiness you described, well it doesn't go away. Even after the second and third I still get that feeling knowing a new addition is on the way.

The tracking will tell you the day it's going to be delivered, but if you're not there you can always pick it up later at the post office.

I've heard that you can get slips at the post that you can leave in the mailbox and allow the postman to just leave the package in your box. So that's another option.

Depending on your area and carrier , the post office has a form that you can leave in the box, kind of pre-signing for the delivery.

I live in a neighborhood of angry rednecks with guns and always felt secure until my house was broken into last year. I wouldn't advise having it left unless you have a secure box, a mail slot in your door big enough for a small flat rate box or something along those lines. Better an extra days wait than for some idiot with no idea what it is to make off with your new baby.

So I just placed my order.

1 white REO grand
1 brass RM2
Brass button covers
2 extra bottles
4 of each 1 and 1.5x10mm o-ring
2 springs
An extra bottle cap o-ring
4 magnets

Didn't get any RM2 post screws, unfortunately. They were out of stock. I was gonna PM Rob, and then forgot and placed my order anyways.

Anywho, hopefully it comes on Saturday, and not Monday! I don't even wanna wait till Saturday...

Very nice! Don't sweat the screws too much. Just don't rebuild over shag carpet and you should be fine.

It should ship tomorrow so I'd guess that you have a good chance of getting it by Saturday.

There is not a single piece of carpet in my entire house so I wasn't too worried anyways. I just wanted to be stocked and ready. Going to be a very long rest of the week for me!
