Getting a Triton? What setup?

Soon I am just going to go ahead and get a Triton setup. I really really like my G6, and I have a setup with some 1000mah Twists, but the interchangeability without adapters between the triton and G6 is a selling point for me.

I was thinking of just getting the starter (I could use the spare chargers), but I don't need the case really, and I don't care for clear clearos. So I was putting it together myself for a few bucks more to get what I want... but I am not sure what size batteries I should get. Can anyone provide some thoughts on the 650-900-1300 in general? I am leaning towards 2 1300's, but don't know if that might be excessive, or if they will be too large. For what it is worth I am about 50/50 on the 1000mah twists I have. Battery life wise they are about perfect, but they don't fit in a pocket too well.

And if you are getting a setup, what are YOU getting?

I'm planning on a Demon Red kit with some extra translucent red tanks. Sadly, gonna be a few weeks due to waiting for held check, ahah.

Then later on a 1300 mAh and a twist... and maybe some G6 mini tanks as emergency backups.




(Although if I can find any kind of coupon codes/discounts, I will try and get it a bit early!)

I would imagine the 900mah and your 1000mah are pretty similar in size, as the form factor seems to be universal for these style batteries.

I almost got the Triton kit, but will probably go with something else since the only option is 650mah (even though in the specifications tab under Battery Capacity, it reads 650mah and 450mah). I think 900mah's are the perfect trade off in size vs usage time.

I just wonder how much larger the 1300's are, but my 1k's get me through a day, I guessing a 900 would as well. Hrm... now i am leaning 900.

unless you really want the case it isn't much more to on the site to build up the same setup, but with different size batteries. everything in the kit but with 1300's was 73ish I think.

I too intend to get some of the G6 tanks. I have been topping off carto's for the past few days and it can occasionally get messy.

I get a tube length of about 74 mm versus the 87mm for the other vendors 900 mAh. How do I know I got a 900, the lengths are not on the website??

We actually were just talking about this! The length actually is in the code to show up on the website (the width shows up) but there's some kind of glitch causing that row not to show up. In the process of finding a ruler to check for myself and let you know

All passthroughs are longer than nons in the same mah as the usb takes space.

That is shorter than the 78 on the G6... I like that size, but don't mind a little bigger. I just measured my twist and it's about 108mm if you exclude the threads. if the 1300's are the same size i may just go with 13's for battery life piece of mind. I would hate for it to die while I was driving. =) decisions decisions....

I'm wondering the same thing,probably should have ordered the 1300 since I'm use to longer anyway. Just for clarification the 74 mm is the tube length, from end to end it's 90mm.
Since I've been using the XL G6 batteries, this is really 'short' for me.

Just as an FYI.....I got my order today and the iridescent is a little more rainbow looking in person. It looked in the pictures mostly blue and purple, but there's a lot of green, pink, and gold also. They're probably all a little different. I still like it, but not as much as I thought I would.

I am having a hard time waiting to order a set-up! Since I pretty much just got my G6 though and am so new to vaping, I am trying to pace myself.

I will be going with the 1300 iri with a purple and clear tank and a large iri cone. Are the cones just basically cosmetic? I kind of like being able to see the tank but I'd like to be able to switch up the look with a cone. I purchased a Halo drip tip for my G6 and really liked it. Will there ever be a similar option to order for the triton or mini-tanks?

Would love to see pics of your set-ups if you get a chance!
