Getting an eGo type B atty on a Buzz?

Ive got 510 threading on my buzz. I just got an eGo atty and it is awesome. I'd love to try it out on the buzz and play with the voltage. The eGo atty consists of 510 threading inside a tube the width of an eGo battery. Problem is, it's slightly too long to be able to reach the threading on the buzz. I'm thinking a 510 to 801 adapter then attached to an 801 to 510 adapter. Thoughts?

Sounds like it will work like a charm! I use the same configuration to connect my ego mega atty to my PV-1, LOL

(but it won't look like an analog....)

Hah great to hear! you think a 901 adapter will be just as good? Its cheaper

Good Prophets has adapters for a buck, I keep adapters to go from any thread to any battery, just in case I want to try a different type. The atty or carto is just getting voltage / amps from the battery, doesn't know where it's coming from....

I just mean size-wise. 901s seem to be more or less the same diameter as 510s, where as 801s are slightly larger.

Hmmm, the 901 adapters I have are a little shorter than the 801, it may not give you enough distance to clear the Buzz, but that may just be the particular "brand" I have. My PV-1 is tapered a bit on top so the clearance is easy, the pictures I've seen on the Buzz it's a flat top, not sure if the distance would be an issue. If you're buying, some vendors have 510 battery extenders, 510-510 atapters that would work, but I'm not sure who wouild have them.

Get a 510 extender this will work nicely , or what you are doing !
