the only thing that was throwing me off is that these batts are 1100mAH and the highest that I have seen is 1000. Well I'm just glad that 2 people think that I didn't get ripped off...makes me feel better about my purchase lol, and yes analogs=too much $$$ that is why I'm getting back into vaping. After watching Grimm's review on it I had to get it.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Fake and overpriced. Since it claims to be Joytech I wouldn't hold my breath for it to be quality. Quality eGo clones aren't afraid to use their own brand name. Cheap fakes pretend they're somebody else.

The reason it's a fake is Joyetech eGo-C Twists are 650mah, 900mah and 1000mah. There's no such thing as a 1100mah Twist and I didn't think there were any copies yet.
Hopefully they're real 1000mah Twists and you just ran into someone who doesn't know what they're selling.
I'm curious what you'll end up getting because the picture of their "twists" are ripped right off Joyetech's site of the 900mah and 1000mah. It's either going to not look like the picture or it's not going to be 1100mah.

The price is about right for an eGo-C kit but those aren't eGo-C heads.
eGo-C tops are $13 for a cone and base (you get 2), $25 for 5 attys and $7 for 5 tanks. Separate value $58
Ce4 is about $3-6 each, you get 4 there. Separate value $12-16

In the future if you want a genuine Joyetech go to Joyetech electronic cigarette Tank System Changeable System eGo-C eGo-T 510-T e-Liquid and go through their distributor list.

Well that sucks...I guess I will have to just wait and see what I get. I'll take pics of them as well. Have any of you ever heard of this store?

*EDIT* their FB page http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Vapor-Hut/163853113698512

and this pic is posted on their page and listed again as a 1100mah

Never heard of them but I have heard of Homestead. It's an easy shoppingcart/storefront place.

I just read the description and you only get 2 CE4s. I don't know about them but you can find out about them reading around the forums.

I was just at their Facebook page and it looks like they have a brick and mortar shop so at least they shouldn't fly by night.
Hopefully they just don't know what they have and they're thinking of KGO batteries, I think they're 1100mah.

I know this store. They are new and just opened recently. I know that they do have some real Joyetech stuff but I did notice that they are carrying knock offs. The ladies that run it are real nice and seem to be doing well. I'd call them and see what they can do for you. As far as I know Real Joyetech only has 650, 900 and 1000 mHa batteries.

I'm thinking they don't know what they're talking about saying it's 1100mah. I haven't heard of any knock offs or copies of the Twist yet. Seeing that amateur picture of a Twist really makes me think they're simply wrong. If it turns out to be a Twist maybe you should let them know.
Post pictures and measurements when you get it and someone can compare.

I'm pretty sure small guys can buy from an official distributor for resale and not be on any Joyetech list so that part isn't fear inducing.

I wouldn't start worrying about it possibly being a fake just now, on looking through their site, it is full of typos! I think they just need a better editor!

I scared myself reading about exploding EGO batteries and what not so I probably have an irrational fear about this stuff. With that caveat in mind I'd just suggest that you closely monitor your batteries at least the first few times you charge them. When mine's charging the battery doesn't get warm at all, either during charge or after sitting for an hour on the charger after hitting full charge. Feel yours frequently and if they feel warm I'd take them off immediately. Through a lot of intense searching I could honestly find very few reports of exploding EGO batteries, and the common belief seems to be that they're knock offs. Regardless, some people don't consider battery safety at all, others are very serious about it to the extent of building battery charging scatter boxes and putting them in li-ion charging bags. I say use your personal judgement and do whatever gives you peace of mind. The only reason I bring the issues up are so that they're at least aware that there have been a very few issues and if yours is possibly counterfeit then you are at increased risk.

Side note: It's worth it for a company(aka criminals in this case) to offer a knock off 1100mah in place of the manufacturers 1000mah battery because they use a cheaper (less safe) battery then lure you in with slightly more mah. So the EGO battery costs Joytech $10, they sell it for $15 and this knock off company gets a reject battery for $3 and sells it for $12.

Somewhere out there
The twist is great and the price for what you got not too bad. I have tried clearos but not those in the kit. You might want to get some cartos as back up if the clearos get finicky which they can do. As for charging, be safe and charge your batts in a metal cake pan. I always charge my egos that way incase something goes wonky. Never charge them over night but check on them while charging and take off charger as soon as the light turns green. Twists take about 4 hrs to charge. bnrk

I wouldn't be too concerned. "If" it is a knockoff it doesn't necessarily mean it's not going to perform well. The vendor/ website may have just mixed/ mislabeled up the mah # with the eGo C. I would email them and ask.
Good Luck.

Well comparing the picture on their Facebook and an eGo a friend has, the buttons look the same. I saw a thread here saying that knock off eGos use an opaque button and not a clear one like the one in the pic. Who knows though, maybe knock offs have gotten better.
