I have an igo w that I've been using just as a single coil. I loved the flavor at 1 ohm so out of curiosity I drilled out ONE airhole to 1/16th. The flavor vanished. The vapor production is awesome but the flavor definitely dissapeared a lot more than I thought it would.

Other than buying a new cap( which isn't a huge deal) what are some things I can do to try and get the flavor back?

Can I try to get into the .5-.6 ohm area? Or maybe do a dual coil? I tried a dual coil before at .6 and it was too warm for me. So maybe I can try one a lt 1 ohm?

I solved the heat problem on dual coils by buying a longer drip-tip.

As far as flavor, I've never had issues with bigger holes, but I almost exclusively run dual coils so that might be a place to start before you buy a new cap. Also I run usually 1-3mg nic because personally it seems like nic kills the flavor.

Idk if it just hits my taste buds or if it mutes the flavor some other way but my DIY now consists roughly of 85/15 Vg/PG with the only PG being flavoring. If you are running high VG you could try a higher PG ratio, or maybe some extra flavor in the liquid itself. Most shops have the option for extra "shots" of flavor anyways.

I did end up making a dual coil. It's at .67 right now. Last time I made a dual coil my airholes were stock and the vape was too hot. I drilled 1 airhole out to 1/16 and it cooled it down a lot.

It did bring the flavor back a little bit. I actuLly tase the juice more in inhale than I do on the exhale now. I also have dropped from 80vg and 12 nic to a 50/50 at 6 nic which did help the flavor.

I think ill still buy a backup igo l anyway and run it sigle coil and stock holes to compare the flavor. The bigger airholes was kinda just messing around and it backfired a little bit.
