I never get "high" from nicotine while vaping, even when chain vaping 24mg juice. When smoking, I only got high if I didn't smoke for 3+ hours, like with air travel. Then I would get a huge high for a few minutes with the first cigarette. With vaping, the most I get is a very mild, calming eurphoria, and even that only some of the time. Nic doesn't absorb as fast when taken in through vaper as opposed to smoke, apparently.

Anyway, it probably isn't "bad" for you, except that it tends to reinforce your nic addiction. But if you're like me and you don't care about ever getting off nic so long as you stay away from smoking, then it probably doesn't matter.

woolfe, I don't care about addiction at the moment, so no problem.

funguy, that only happens at work when I get to vape once in two hours or so.

anyway, it's all very new to me, so licking juice off my cart's opening, flooding atomizers, getting dizzy and other things shouldn't come as a surprise. what i am really amazed at at this point is that i smoked just one real cig in last three days and feeling good :)

Beware the effects of smoking withdrawal.
You'll find yourself going through some changes. Some really good and some not so pleasant. In the long run it's all good. Vape on!

For what it's worth I have never got a nicotine buzz with ecigs. I started out vaping after quitting a 2 pack a day habit, vaping 24 mg juice heavily. I did experience what I think was nicotine overdose - racing heart, headache and sweating.

After 2 months, I'm still a heavy vaper but I vape mostly 12mg (and less) e-liquid now.

I have ONE liquid in particular that I only vape in emergencies. Pretty much all of my liquids are 36 mg but this juice, even though it is 36 mg, I don't know... something about it REALLY buzzes me hardcore, that feeling you got the second or third time you ever smoked a cigarette (I won't say first cause that's too intense) But yeah, it reaaally takes care of the cravings when they're bad and nothing else seems to work.

Thanks for the replies guys, you are great!

Actually my juice is 24 mg (checked the website where I got it from) so I will experiment with lower concentrations, should get more juices tomorrow :)

Regarding licking off the cart, I meant that figuratively :) The juices I have taste sweet (in fact they have the same taste though the price was different, $22 & $14, go figure) and I have this sweetness in my mouth even between vaping sessions. This is normal, I hope?

Your nic is too high. You need to get some plain PG and cut it to a lower level.

Here is some info on ratios

With a 15ml bottle:
1ml of 36 mg nic liquid mixed with 14ml of filler material (VG, PG, Flavoring)in a 15ml bottle will give you overall a 2.4mg liquid, so here are common strengths listed out:
2.4mg (1ml 36mg nic + 14ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
4.8mg (2ml 36mg nic + 13ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
7.2mg (3ml 36mg nic + 12ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
9.6mg (4ml 36mg nic + 11ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
12 mg (5ml 36mg nic + 10ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
14.4 mg (6ml 36mg nic + 9ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
16.8 mg (7ml 36mg nic + 8ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
19.2 mg (8ml 36mg nic + 7ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
21.6 mg (9ml 36mg nic + 6ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
24 mg (10ml 36mg nic + 5ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
26.4 mg (11ml 36mg nic + 4ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
28.8 mg (12ml 36mg nic + 3ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
31.2 mg (13ml 36mg nic + 2ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
33.6 mg (14ml 36mg nic + 1ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
36 mg (15ml 36mg nic + 0ml of PG, VG, flavoring)
