Getting juiced with the atty

Every time i use my 510 atty and direct drip i suck the juice up into the mouthpiece. Am i doing something wrong? It isn't flooding.

Sounds like the juice is collecting at the bottom of your drip tip and not falling onto the atty bridge.
The drops just hang there defying gravity at the end of the drip tip.
There is a physics principle involved here, surface tension and what not.
You need to blow a little puff of air into the drip tip to clear this juice each time you drip.
There are utube videos on dripping that show this "little puff" technique.
I just can't find one right now, because I'm looking for it.

The newer Pyrex drip tips work very well for this issue, just saying

Yup, after a couple drops, give it a little blow to get it in all the way down

i had the same problem at first but then i started blowing into the drip tip and that solved my problem. I hope this helps
