Hey guys, first post here. I picked up an ego-t two weeks ago and love it! I'm using boge cartomizers and a tank system with it. (low resistance cartos I believe) well recently as I have adjusted to vaping, my hits have gotten longer and slower and more frequent. I usually take a really slow and long draw, basically till the ego flashes and turns off. Sometimes I follow it up with another long draw a few seconds after. Well doing this gives me the great hit that I am looking for but sometimes liquid gets in my mouth. I realize this is a result of the draw I am taking but is there any way to fix this? Also I am thinking of getting a provari soon and was wondering if I can get the same satisfying hit while taking a smaller hit with that. If anyone could share some knowledge as to why I keep getting liquid in my mouth and why I have to take such long draws to feel satisfied I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Ps I love this forum, it's been so helpful in my best attempt so far at dropping my cig addiction and for that I say thank you again!

Welcome to the ECF! Almost sounds like you are either drawing just a tad to hard or your holding the eGo like a normal cig. With these, you need to hold it more vertical than horizontal like you would with a reg cig. I'm sure others will chime in with more advice. This is what worked for me..had the same problem. As far as the long draws to feel satisfied, it may just be you're not quite use to fully vaping yet or it may just be how you vape.

I think you may be right. Most of the time it happens when I vape before I go to sleep, but a few times it has happened while I was holding it vertical. Strange I know, but it hardly ever happens so I won't worry about it.

As for the nicotine, I am trying to drop my intake so I would like to avoid going up in dosage. And it's not so much that I am looking for a stronger nicotine hit, (maybe my body is, but I'd like to avoid it if possible) but a stronger thoat hit.

I really want to get a provari, but im still not too sure of the difference between variable voltage devices and what i currently have. Does vaping at a higher voltage increase all aspects of vaping, such as giving a stronger throat hit, more flavor, and more vapor?

The cartos I have been using come pre punched. I should probably invest in a saddle valve soon. :)

Two things. First, blow out your carto into a tissue with the thread end down after filling or whenever you get liquid in the mouth. Two, while you have the carto out, look into the battery connector. Juice will collect there on and around the center contact. Use a twisted tissue and insert it into the battery end, press and rotate to remove any juice. That juice can get sucked back into the carto center air tube as you vape and end up in your mouth. Any gurgling you hear when you vape is a sign that you need to do this.

I do this every time I refill to prevent juice in the mouth. It only takes 30 seconds and prevents the problem.

When I first started using cartomizers I got juice in my mouth too until I found out to replace the little plastic cap with a drip tip LOL (also overfill was an issue too, then you have to wipe the batt and bottom of carto to get the excess juice off) and try again. I keep several different set-ups in rotation so that I don't get the cut-off with log draws when using just one pv.
