I am fairly new to vaping and would like to know some things. I would like to upgrade to bigger and better things but am becoming confused the more I look into things. Like models, which attys go to what ecig, Can I use different batterys on differnt models and makes, where do I find all these replacement parts like attys and such, how do I tell different attys from others and which one do I need, ect. Thanks

Hi and welcome to ecf.....yes, there is a learning curve and yes, it can be very confusing........The two most popular types of ecigs are the eGo/Riva(both of which have 510 threads) and the KR808D-1 from vapor4-life. To find the compatibility one looks at the thread type of the battery....i.e. 510 attys, cartomizers, etc. will screw on the the connections of a 510 battery like the eGo/Riva. 901/808 are basically the same thread with different holes for air flow.....
So what are you using now?

As a general rule, the numbers refer to the threading so a 510 atomizer will fit on anything that's 510. There are lots of registered vendors here on the forum that sell replacement parts. If you scroll down towards the bottom of the main forum page you'll find the Registered Suppliers section. Most of us have a few different vendors so if one is out-of-stock on an item, then the other vendors might have it. We all have our favorite vendors, but all of the Registered vendors here are excellent!

There are exceptions to the rule. A 306 atomizer will fit on a 510 connection without an adapter. You can also buy adapters so you can use different atomizers with your battery.

The PV that you have is definitely NOT a 510. It might have 510 in name and this company should be shot for even making people think this is a 510, but it is not. I'm not sure which adapters would work for this PV.

Adapters are just little metal pieces that have two sides to them. One side has threads that screw into your battery and a different set of threads on the other end where you can screw on different hardware.

I just looked up the model you have.....The box in the picture says smoking anywhere on it. It does not mention anything about what type of threads it has so there is no way of knowing....
Look at vapor4life.com for kr808 models....they have prefilled cartomizers, similar to what you are currently using. If you want something that hits harder then look at liberty-flights.com or goodprophets.com for a riva 510 or an eGo type of kit.......
liberty-flights.com has a 20% discount link on top left of their homepage, and goodprohets.com has a discount also, compare prices and products and come back when you have questions.....
good luck
:)

There is no all-inclusive list of what goes with what. There is one list with mistakes and unclear things in it.

What do you have now. And are you looking for a better slim ecig (very limited options or perhaps none depending on what you have) or are you wanting a fat battery model with super-long life and ability to use hotter LR parts, or a simple or variable voltage mod? What do you want from your upgrade?

The main upgrade path is 510 threaded stuff
Some upgrades available for KR808D-1/901, and 801

Thanks, and for sugarandspice- I have a Kangleer K510.

Also what are the adapters and about them.

WOW calling that PV a K510 should be illegal IMO, first off, many people will think they are getting a 510 WHICH THEY ARE NOT. looked at some K510's online and they are sold at "mall kiosk's"! Some list them as a KR808 battery which "technically" they are BUT...........They are a KR808d-2 battery NOT A KR808d-1 battery which Is like a double slap in the face! Im sure they do this becasue they know that no one sells stuff for the KR808d-2 and then you have to come back to them for over priced batteries and cartomizers. I HATE VENDER LIKE THIS:mad:

Oh really - that's sick.

All the pictures I see show a female battery. So you have a 2-piece w/ a male battery?

Well on the bright side sort of - LeCig.com has a D2 to D1 adapter to use KR808D-1 cartos

Sorry you got shafted.

For future reference - good US vendors that call things by their actual numbers and names:

LiteCigUSA.net
Cignot.com
Liberty-Flights.com (and press the 20% off on front page)

Well then you do not have a KR808D-2

A KR808D-2 is a male battery with no atty at all. it is a 2-piece model. Male battery and female cartomizers.

I was looking at more pictures and I don;t know what the heck you have. If it is truly 8.5mm diameter i.e. less than 9mm, then it also is not any popular model. Is the atty really plain steel and the cart goes over it? Then it may be like Trio or the old Blu (not made anymore). If it is then you may actually be able to put a standard resistance 510 atty and 510 cart (or 510 standard resistance cartomizer like Boge) on the battery. Just be very careful if the cartos do work because you probably have auto batteries and if juice leaks on the end of the battery and gets in the hole it can damage or kill the battery. Real 510 manuals are seals on the threaded end and safe from that (but the autos are not safe from it). Even if 510 stuff fits your battery, you cannot put a real 510 battery in your charger. The type of model yours looks like usually has an opposite polarity charger which would melt a real 510 or cause a fire and vice versa.

May be worth giving up on it though and buying something from a reputable vendor.
