I had the same issue but I can't remember what was the flavor, nor the amount of PG/VG or if it was full VG. All I know is that letting it two day cap open didn't help for me. I just let the juice steeping for like 2 months and wow it tasted amazing after that!
So you people are saying that it isn't related to the PG/VG ratio? I hesitate for my next order being 100%VG or 50/50, but if it has no effect I guess I will go 100% VG and let it steep for a while.

So hey, to revist this thread after trying out the advice, my results are:

1- Steeping the juice with the bottle-cap on: no change. Perhaps the flavor is making subtle changes, but I can't ever taste it, all I -- still -- get is an onslaught of rubbing alcohol taste, that's a lot like smoking vodka (which isn't that terrible, but I literally can't taste/smell almost anything else besides that).

2- Steeping with the caps off: total win. AWESOME! Ok, now I can actually understand what all the raves are about.

Thanks very much to 6spdsurfer & Annette for the advice, steeping with cap off worked out for me. It's been I guess something like 7 days since I last tried it and it has changed from total blah, to awesome.

BTW- I forget who mentioned it, but the suggestion to go with the Absolute Virgin line where there is no alcohol used for the organic flavorings is solid in theory, but in practice the problem is that nothing I want to try/vape is available in that line (probably because the flavorings don't exist sans alcohol).

tl;dr: Steeping with cap off = works for me!

Completely forgot this post! You're welcome! Its a great vape and I'd hate for anyone to miss out on it for not giving it enough time to come together....
