[h=1]GG, GGTS 3.5 WICKS Silica vs Nextel SHOWDOWN[/h]

Who gets KO’d?

I used all these wicks for a few weeks now and I went through them hard. I made single, dual, and triple wick combinations of single coils and dual coils. Then I proceeded to reuse them and see how well they hold against wash and reusing. How long they go before replacing the wick &r coil?

Nextel wick was the most durable wick out of the bunch. No question hands down, it only requires a few minutes of prepping the wick before usage. Requires to wet it in water and then burn it dry till you see orange and fumes are gone. Then the wick is ready to be used.

Silica wick no need to do this process. You can still do it if you like to help with the wick durability factor. Yet I notice that from Clouds of Vapor the wick was more durable in texture. This is something I will need to look into though I’m not a wick expert as I shown how easy it was to break off material from one 3.5 wick vs the other from clouds of vapor. I’m thinking it may have to result the way the wick is made vs here and where Imeo may have gotten it for the venders. It’s definitely a health factor to watch out for. To pay a little less sometimes it’s not safe when you gambling with one’s life.

I mentioned Manos and I were vaping some good Dual coils his method is certainly better than my dual coil method. The heat and vaping power is something like vaping at 7.4 volts with maybe 1.0 ohms lol. I’m still trying to perfect the technique. Once I get it down pack I’ll be more than happy to share a video on how to do it for Penelope and Odysseus.

I have to give thanks to Imeo for his wonderful outstanding and outstanding design. In my opinion I don’t think there can be product that can truly outperform his atys given of course it all depends how experienced is the vapor in producing high end coils and for instance these dual coils of MANOS is unbelievable to achieve such vapes at low voltage. The quality and craftsmanship speaks for itself. IMEO YOU THE MAN!!!!! Imeo you keep this up I’m going to have to move to GREECE.

I did get a Web Cam Logitech C920. Not sure if I like it just yet since I’m still working out the kinks. One kink is I am unable to edit my videos through Vegas pro. Now for this video I’m trying to use capture portion of vegas pro which I’m not impress with. Anyone that may have any insight please feel free to shoot me a vaping email on ecf forums or pm.

Ops edit not working for some reason in tapatalk :) wanted to add 2 more question, do you feel the need to open the liquidt control more while using nextel and about cleaning can you do it the usual way just run pn water and dry burn to get rid of previous flavor ? I havent try other wicks because cotton and cheesecloth will burn, nextel wont burn but wonder if it works like fiber and just dry burning will get rid of everything.

Thanks.

Morning Rox, Cleaning the Nextel is the same way as I did in the video with the silica wicks. Its more durable don't need to e as gentle to it as Silica. Also you don't get a lot of the particles strands falling off even with assembly. yes you can do the same kind of burn I did in my video. you will notice that cleaning it is much faster vs the silica wicks.

Liquid control all depends on how much heat your pumping in relation to and how quick you need your wick to moist. What i do with any new wick I put in I saturate the wick before putting on mouth piece. After I seal up Penelope or Odysseus I vape with juice control closed. Once I feel it being dry I open half turn on juice control wait 4 seconds then vape slowly. if I feel great moisture and heat i leave juice control alone. When Im done chain vaping i close juice control. Then i repeat process when i begins to chain vape.

If I open juice control vs silica? I really cant answer that because my habit of using both wicks is the same. I don't notice anything different in juice control.

Sure cotton will burn but for some reason it lasts forever and the coils don't get nearly as gunked up. A quick rinse will clean it off really well without the need to dry burn it(You can wet burn it a bit since it's covered in water). It wicks so well that burning it on hits is pretty much impossible. The flavor is also really good...first comment anyone makes on the all natural cotton candle #1/0 cotton candle wick is the flavor is very good.

EZkill has given me an idea Im going to try that and see how it holds with Manos's dual coil build. i am looking for a different wick that I can use with his design. The amount of heat and moisture is out of this world I cant freaking believe a 3.7 v battery can fire up that much freaking heat combustion in my mouth.
