I have many different mods. I have yet to try or actually see a GG in person.
What is it about these things that makes everyone lose their mind and take out a second mortgage in order to buy one?
I see people that have more than one. I realize they are high end devices and they sure look nice, but are they really that much better than other mods as far as functionality? It seems to me that if I had one I would be afraid to use it. It might get scratched, etc.
I would appreciate objective reviews not just from fanboys/girls.TIA.

The GG is a uniquely designed device with its telescopic system. It's made in Greece. Although it's expensive as you note in your original post, it's no more expensive than a few months of smoking cigarettes, & you actually have something to show for it. I've got the newest SSGGTS. Stainless steel in my opinion is a keeper in a mod. It's sorta heavy, but the mod itself is beautiful with etching on the side & the serial number of that particular GG also on the side. The vape on this is super smooth, unlike any other mod i've experienced. I'm definitely not a "fangirl", as I own many mods from many vendors. I will say that the SSGGTS is priced fairly if you purchase it new. The GGTB looks plain to me, & i've got it in nickle plated brass. There are no etchings, no serial numbers & basically looks "like a tube mod". You can come across these every once in a while on the classifieds reasonably priced from $50-$75.

I'll tell you, like I tell everyone else that debates dropping a few hundred on a mod. These aren't just something that you can vape out of.......they are actually works of art & collectors items. I was spending $60/week on cigarettes before I started vaping. I bought my SSGGTS for essentially what I would have spent in 1 month of smoking.

To me mods are essential when it comes to holding more juice, being clean/not messy, & having more time between battery charges.

So, those are my thoughts.........I hope you get more answers than just mine. The only mod that i'm extremely partial to are my REOs. I AM a REO fangirl for life!
