This holidays I went to the town where my mother was born: "Comalcalco, Tabasco; Mexico", one day I went to the Mayan ruins to take some GG pictures, as I do not have a good camera, I borrowed my sister's iPad.

GG was at Mayan ruins :D

(Kicked GGTS with 18350 battery and collector tank + Odysseus in short mode and Penelope on a Jazz cartopipe)

The sculptures are originals (not replicas) and the skeleton was found recently, I asked for permission to take those pictures :)

Those Mayan ruins have very intersting and mysterious things, for example:

(From Wikipedia)
2012 "Doomsday scenario" claim

In November 2011, Mark Stevenson authored an article in the Seattle Times claiming that Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History revealed that there may be a reference to the December 2012 "doomsday" date on a second glyph found at their Comalcalco ruin site. The inscription is on the carved or molded face of a brick, called The "Comalcalco Brick." The brick has the same Calendar Round as the completion of the thirteenth b'ak'tun.

Or the fact that those Mayan ruins were build using bricks (instead stones) and the bricks have marks is believed to be the brick makers fingerprints and some of the symbols are almost identical to some mason symbols from Roman bricks and have Roman-like architectural measurements and the building structures sport Roman-like architectural features.

I'm so jealous! This is definitely on my bucket list. Thank you for the pictures Ariel.

If some day you decide to come to Mexico to visit Mayan archaeological sites we could make a good tour, my parents live in Chiapas (where I am currently for holidays :D ), and here are a lot of interesting and important Mayan sites, as Palenque, Yaxchilan, Bonampak, Tonina, etc.

You said the truth my dear friend Ariel, but don't forget, Chichen itza, Uxmal, Coba and Ek Balam, those are Mayan sites too. :toast:

I am happy to announce that, while I ran a bunch of high energized electrons through my tightly wrapped bish coils, wrapped around a doubled strand of fiber wick, cooled by some well flavoured PG/VG mixture, well sit down and take a deep breath!

I found a new particle and I will call it the Happy GG New Year Boson - may your dreams come true and all the best wishes!
